CCM---->Warrior Sizing

Is there a general rule from going from CCM to Warrior? I am highly considering picking up GTs or G3s on clearance and my FTK and height sized me in a 35 in Warrior. I spoke to @coopaloop1234 a little while back, and he said he would be a 32 in CCMs, while in Warrior, hes a 33. Is that just personal preference or is there a general rule about the sizing? I know the Ritual pads have a flatter boot and are straighter and could make them ride taller on the skate. I am going to visit pure goalie most likely but Warrior has a guaranteed fit thing so im not sure it would be needed.

Not CCM... but when I switched up from Vaughn V2’s I went from a 35”+2 to a 34”+1.5 Warrior... been in that size for G1, G2 & G4’s.

Think my floor to knee was about 20”-20.25”... so their fitting chart is pretty accurate.

I used to wear a 34+2 CCM EFlex 1 that was a little bit too big, maybe should have been a 33.

I had the opportunity to demo Warriors before buying, and was able to try a 34+1.5 and 35+1.5. The 34+1.5 felt too short in the knee and too tall in the thigh, so I went custom and got a 35+1 GT and it fits perfectly.

The Warrior guide says 20.25" to 20.75" FTK is a 35.

CCM says 20" to 20.5" is 33 and 20.5" to 21" is a 34.

So the Warrior 35 pad is kind of in between the 33 and 34 CCM.

Don’t have a definitive answer but I had an eflex 3.9 34 and with warrior my knee was better suited with a 35.

ok thanks. I was checking that out and my FTK is just under 21, so i think im a 35

ok thanks you. Im concerned about going up an inch in the knee because i land pretty centered in my CCMs but warrior measures different

youre my closest comparison bc i use senior level CCM pads right now.
