Punisher Goalie
Finally have my 960XPM back with fresh paint by Tony Bage of Winnipeg! Tony executed my concept/requests perfectly and I honestly could not be happier. As I said previously, this general idea has been done many times before, but I was mainly inspired by Pekka Rinne’s blue monster mask, but as a pop culture and film nerd, I went with Jason’s look from Friday the 13th. The key part was I did not want to go with a realistic grotesque/gross look - I wanted a cartoony/comic book sort of scary and Tony captured exactly what I was going for. The pictures really don’t do it justice - in person there is an additional depth to the art that is really neat. With the white cage to complete the look, I’m a very happy goalie. Hope you guys like it!

cwarnar
I emailed Tony the other day. He's gonna do my new Sportmask Pro 3... Matte black, white window and red pinstripe to match my new Warrior GT Pro set. Prices are very reasonable and because my paint is simple he's doing it ASAP

I don’t think mask painting is his primary business, so you’ve got to be patient but I knew that going in. His price was exceedingly reasonable and he executed my requests perfectly. I just found him by Googling for mask painters and the art I saw on his website made me think his style would work for this project. Luckily it did! I definitely highly recommend Tony.
Naz
Took a bomb to the forehead dead centre the other night. Chipped the paint and the clear, but other than that the mask is still solid. Checked underneath the padding, no damage to the shell. Love my Eddy Custom Kevlar.

Looks like there's a layer (or two) missing.

coopaloop1234
Decided to steal @MTH idea (with permission of course) to spruce up my mask. Bought some window stickers of the Scottish lion and applied them to my mask. Some slight imperfections and it's a little bit of a bummer they're not mirrored. But hey, after having flat mask forever, it's cool to have some art.

Good on the stickers, more than 1 painter has told me those masks are a nightmare to paint. lol

I know in the snowboard industry it's a pretty big no no. Some of the Medalists' sponsors weren't even allowed a "Congratulations" on social media. That being said, I don't really know what the rules are or how they're written.

Any chance you'd be willing to send out a small sample? I keep buying NME8 masks just because the padding is so comfortable. The gel inserts eliminate pressure points. 18 hours ago, Mroy31 said: @IPv6Freely It's definitely softer than the stuff that was in my Profile 950 that I had before switching.
