So when @GoalieTimmy33 said "be back on sunday" he meant 3/18... not 3/11. Pretty sure I'll be heading in the Cream w/ White Bindings... but any additional things you guys think might add to the retro feel? Let me know...

I don’t suppose it’s possible to add stitching to the floaters, etc? If they did a diamond pattern it would invoke the look of that old cooper model with the stitched segments. Not sure if I’m making sense but I think it could look cool and add to the retro look.

It would be really cool if they could make it a 2 piece design. Arms, shoulder caps and upper chest as 1 piece. Shoulder floaters,  belly and rib padding as the second. True retro design with modern materials.

Agreed... but not sure the shoulder floaters would integrate well w/o a solid attach to the arm/shoulder piece. That is to say I don't think I'd want to be the one to test the true retro idea out.

I LIKEY!!! No reason why they couldn't do that I can think of. I wanted to keep some jenpro-ish material on there for wear... but might look better all nylon w/ diamond.

What about a thin strip of the jenpor-ish material along the outer part of the wing and diamond stitch on the wing and the arm? Did a quick 1/2 view of what that might look like...

Great mock up. If you’re going for the retro look, I think it adds a lot of depth.

I agree... I'll probably opt for white stitching instead of something dark like I used in the mock up... but I really like it too. Great call @Punisher Goalie

@Punisher Goalie... the final rendering is complete and being ordered today. Unfortunately cream nylon is not an option... so white on white... but i did keep the diamond stitch on the shoulder floaters and adjusted some of the other colors (updated to gold.) What do you think?? Back plate will have large# 41 and my name in gold stitching.

Total, utter filth lol. I think it’s an awesome subtle take on the retro look in a modern C/A. Did you already order? When is your ETA? Can’t wait to see pictures of the final product!

Just placed the order yesterday... 6-8 weeks... but the production team has already said they'll likely send me pictures during the process to confirm the patches and placement etc. I told them they can send me daily updates... I won't tire of it. Whatever I get I'll post.

Thanks @FIFTY-SIX and @TheGoalNet. The diamond stitch was all @Punisher Goalie... I just paid for it. Wisdom of the crowd. 

Can’t wait to see it though. I’m guessing I’ll be closer to the 8 week mark of the quoted 6-8 week lead time. But as soon as I have it’ll be posted!!

At nearly 15 weeks after the order was placed... the first images arrived in my inbox. Surprisingly, they used the font I had in my mock up everywhere and not their own face type for the Passau logo as they advised early on would be their preference. Once I have it delivered i’ll be posting MUCH more. Here’s the same teaser image I posted on the new gear page...

Ha... I do like them as well. As I said an unexpected touch. On the left elbow pad I did get “BA PP 41”... so there is a precedent for Bad Angle Pro Pack 41.

Delivered today... I snapped a few initial pics but more to come along with the obligatory weigh in. I've only had it on for about 3 minutes and some adjustments will be needed of course... but I can say that this is WAY more mobile than my Premier unit. Not to mention it looks SO GOOD. I still can't believe Passau forwent their initial push back on using their face type on the logo and kept it true to my final rendering. To say they nailed it is an understatement for sure!!
