  1. just because the silhouette has a single or double break or even the actual image have single or double break, may not matter if they are going to offer multiple break options. and considering the current customizer offers many, i wouldn't be surprised at all if one of these lines is considered a "SR" line and the others, "PRO" lines, and a youth/ INT line
  2. Kinda thinking I may become the 'SR' level review guy
  3. I'm always curious about the differences between the 'PRO' and the 'SR' levels of pads lately. Like, are the 'PRO' pads up-to-date with the latest and greatest, and the 'SR' are just last years (and models prior) leftovers or do they have the same materials in the core and the jacket and strapping just cheaper and made off-shore? The whole "materials and engineering are better quality" doesn't exactly give me the info I want or deserve as a consumer if I'm dropping an additional 2k for a full custom if its just a graphic. Just my $0.02 as I'm sure someone has the answers.
  4. looking at the shoulders has me thinking that the "Hellebuyck Halos" for the chicken-winging will become a thing.

  6. According to my rep those are, in fact, the AXIS pads. No maybe about it. Confirm 100% Looks like the same tech from 90's street hockey pads has finally made a return to the market as a whole "A lot lighter. New core material and what appears to be a deeper boot channel. Not designed by Lefevre."
  7. Have you tried attaching some industrial hook and loop to either side of your chesty/ neck guard? (Almost a Brian's Optik/ B-Star chesty with adjustable neck piece?) in theory you wouldn't need to even use the strap around the neck. I may be wrong, but I do my own mods via contact cement and/or the before mentioned route.
  8. Just a little Google trip and found a couple things that may help resolve your concerns @ac40
  9. I myself have a super sturdy Flite goalie bag from goalieparts.com last year. Can everything plus my foam roller, shakercup, ade bottle... Still have room left. Will probably be doing a 'What's In The Bag/ Packing' video. I'll share it on my channel's feed here on TGN and I'll copy the link here when I get it done.
  10. Maybe... ??? I got the Medussa prior to full launch as I was working for them then. I have had no issues with it other than having to finagle it as I use an OTNY and the harness was not made for use with the old backplate.
  11. Holy fucking shit. I am just now catching up on this feed. I am so sorry so many people have been having issues with them. I peraonally am phasing out of Monster products, I have my reasons. I will probably keep using certain things just because of the "if it ain't broke, don't fuck with it" mentality. Also, coincidentally, I am pretty good pals with a certain youtuber that has peaked my interest with Prolaces.
  12. Absolutely. I was actually discussing these same issuses with another former rep this morning. I understand both sides of the business, Jeff doesnt want to stop because if he does, he's going to lose business. However, if he doesn't take a break before he drowns, the business is not going to have the best reputation when the come out on the other side of this. I love him like a brother. A much older decrepit jar head of a brother. I dont wish poor things happen to him or his. Sometimes though, you need to just stop, step back, and look at the problem from another perspective.
