  1. With a Mage you will certainly want a dangler, and that should help with direct impact to that area. I have worn a Mage before and never had an issue.
  2. I have a small section of synthetic ice tile in my basement. I tried them on and they felt pretty big. Then I tried them with my hockey pants. That is when I realized they wouldn't work. I really like them, other than the sizing. Coming from Eflex pads, they are a little stiffer. There is less wrap around the skates which should allow better movements. I really like the strapping. The quality, fit and finish look good as well. With the season starting in two weeks, I must go back to stock CCM pads as I know they will work. I am keeping the gloves, as they should work just fine.
  3. Yes, I did see that. I never dreamed what a difference it would make as I have had pads with a flat boot before. I didn't take into account how chunky the boot is. I would think that you would be okay in a 32 inch.
  4. I thought it was just me. I am likely pickier than most about my pads. They felt huge when I tried them on. Visually they look the same as my other pads when siting side by side. It is the flat bottom that makes them sit higher.
  5. I am going back to CCM with the pads. I will keep the gloves. I liked the idea of being made in North America, but I am disappointed in the sizing for sure.
  6. You can add me to that list. I received my L20.1 set a week ago. I don’t think I will be able to use them. Same size as the Eflex 4 that I wore last year.
  7. I just bought the same mask last week. If you just sold this its likely literally the same mask.
  8. I received mine from Hockeygeeks about 2 weeks ago. They didnt show stock online so you will have to call.
  9. Have you considered a Tim Thomas style cheater cage?
  10. Top to bottom, group shot, Noah 14, Gigi 1year, Oliver 1 year, and Lucky 15.
  11. 18 Jeep Wrangler unlimited, fits nicely with 1/2 of the back seat folded down.
  12. I always wondered hat that extra screw, or screw hole inside of the cage window was for. Now i know.
  13. Maybe our paths will cross at a tournament sometime then.
  14. Thank you, maybe we went to a hockey school together at some point. I had Jeff Jackson as a goalie coach at MSU summer hockey camp during his early coaching days around 84 and 85. In the mid 80s my school didn't have a team so I wound up playing travel and juniors out of Saginaw from age 15-19.
  15. My name is Mike, i have been playing in the Saginaw Michigan area since i was 10 (1978). The 2018 season will be my 40th year of goaltending and my 20th season with my current team. And yes like many others, I have hip and knee issues, and for the first time ever, couldn't finish the season due to a back issue. That said, I have found that cycling has provided the best treatment for my knees and hips, usually during the off season months, i average 80-100 miles each week. This may not be for everyone, but it works for me.
  16. I searched online for the Sentinel mask thinking maybe it was an April fools joke. While reading, they claim that they chose to use Brians name because according to their site, and in their words, Brians is a small company that "needs a competitive edge', "lacks a current mask offering", "has a history of innovation", "has massive street cred", and they also say that Brians was "once a maker of the finest gear available, recent economic turmoil and strong well financed competitors has severely diminished market share." I serioulsly doubt Brian's would have any interest in this mask, and wouldn't care for their comments.
