80 Hours and not even close to the end of a Souls game was too draining. Especially with the difficulty increase that Elden Ring had compared to other games.

Loved my time with it, just highly doubt I'll complete it or start a new run. I like my Souls game with a bit less open concept.

Fair point. It was a long one. My first playthrough was about 95 hours, but I had the advantage of having COVID and nothing else to do as well as a GF who was super into the lore and interested (also with COVID and stuck at home, natch).

I will say without spoilers that I found the DLC to be kinda meh, in case you ever get curious. Considering it's generally their best content for the games I was surprised.

It's more of a PSA that the G7 pads are incredibly modular compared to most pads out there. You can really fine tune what you want, but too many options does leave you to tinker with them game in and game out.

My adjustment period for strapping on my GT2's and G5's was two games and my Bauer's was about two weeks.

Both me and coop wear our G7s drastically different but they still work incredibly well. There is no one way to wear G7 and that makes it a truly special pad

I didn't know you could get a 90 liner sown in? Wasn't the G6.1 75 only for the sown in options? Or maybe I've just been seriously mistaken this whole time haha

I think custom you can get whatever! Matt from Hockeyreviews got his 90 degree 7.1 sewn in.

Good thing about Warrior's new customizer is that it's pretty comprehensive with showing your options.

7.1 gloves can select any 60/75/90 liner to be sewn in. It CANNOT select and Intermediate liner unless you choose an INT glove.

7.0 gloves are the same plus the ability to choose a 75 INT liner, this is the route I chose.

So I saw that a store near me was having a really really good clearance sale on the SR 6.1 glove in the exact colourway of my 6 which I very much like. I took one game in it and kinda fell in love. But then I saw a post on FB Warrior group looking for that exact glove. So I told him I'd let it go for the amount that I paid, to which he was very happy to.

Anyway I was still very much convinced on the 6.1, and probably will be looking to grab a 7.1 I just wish the insert wasn't sewn in. Is there a huuuuuge difference between the different degrees?

A bit, but not drastic.

The metaphor I've used is that changing the liner of Warrior gloves is the same as adjusting the seat/wheel/pedals in a car.

It'll feel slightly different and is personal preference, but at the end of the day the car performs the same.

This is a good way of describing it. It's a fit/feel thing. I found if anything my hand felt more comfortable ((especially my thumb angle) with the angle of the 90 degree than the 75 (and even more so than the 60) but it wasn't like magically turning it into a 580 glove. Either way I found the glove caught pretty much the same but I just liked the way it felt better so perhaps a little less distracting and easier to grip the stick for playing the puck.

Caveat being this was with G5/G6 liners in a G4 glove, but I don't imagine there's that drastic of a change in the new lines.
