So strange, you could probably make a Shadow graphic that somehow matched? It makes it hard for the Casual goalies to realize it doesn't match... don't like any part of this

Yeah it's been fun to see local goalies showing up with more and more custom sets in Kraken colors.  Obviously there are a few beer league teams in those colors now.

Yeah, that lighter sea foam greeny blue is a bit much as a dominant color but I like it on these, for sure.

I lost the video but Hill is still in Brian's with a warrior stick. Seems like a solid chance that's what he's going with for the season

Feels like every goalie that moves over I to True is doing it after a string of bad seasons. 

Almost feels like they're choosing it out of the typical "Grass is greener..." idea. Not so much of what it offers, but the perception of the popularity of it means it must be good. 

That's my understanding of it since I don't get the appeal lol.

Yeah for me the only appeal is the pads, by FAR the best part of a True set IMO. 

But I for the most part refuse to mixmatch gear so True is out for me.

Judging by the small glimpse we got of Hill during the VGK media day, I think you’re right. Eclipse gloves and Iconik pads going off that roll. I also see a hint of a triangle on the thigh. Love a good waffle board, though!

First look at Markstrom’s mask and setup. Not usually a fan of mostly white setups but I think he makes it work and the mask looks sick

That set could even be one of his old Calgary sets lol

At least he's consistent with rocking white most of his career
