RichMan
So Ottawa is in a panic right now with Ullmark's recent performances. My take: the bromance was much more than we understand. Ullmark and Swayman had a strong support system between each other that helped them push to the level they attained with zero jealousy or envy towards each other. That relationship has been broken. A true tandem in its purest form. https://senshot.com/senators-now-have-every-right-to-be-deeply-concerned-about-linus-ullmark-01jd3ya31b8b
coopaloop1234
Maybe the Sens are just that fucking awful? Not like their other goalies are blowing Ullmarks numbers out of the water, and you know, the past 10 years.
xmikex32
its like philly worrying about their goalies...maybe start looking somewhere else if every goalie that has come through has struggled to play for you. Coops right, its not like the sens have been powerhouses and this is a new thing.
johncho
I think Swayman and Ullmark were like brothers and yeah I bet you play better if you know that you won't lose your net if you make a mistake. But I also think Sens have a deeper culture issue because they've been bad for so long. I think they will figure it out soon enough; Stutzle is going to be good for a long while and he is only 22. Ullmark is fine and the coach is okay, the Centres are good and overperforming atm. Fix the D core and get a 2nd line going because Giroux is not going to be around probably when they finally make the playoffs in a consistent manner.

A.YOUNGoalie13
Funny how the best goalies are always on the best teams… Vasy is the fastest to reach 300 wins, and I know he is a hof level goalie, but Tampa has been stacked every year of his career, and the minute they got worse last year, his numbers tanked. The other part of this that drives my crazy is the Vezina is basically thegoalieonthebestteam award. Wins shouldn’t matter at all when considering what goalies are best. Wins and shutouts are essentially team stats. Quick is one of my idols, but I think we all know he ain’t putting up a .970 on the Ducks or Blackhawks. Guy has 2 shutouts this year. To me all of this should change. I think Blackwood is one of the best goalies in the league, at least from a technical standpoint, but the dude gets shelled and has no defensive or offensive help. Not saying he should be up for a Vezina, but I bet if you threw him on a Florida, or the Rangers, or any other good team, he could do similar things to what the current guys there are. My last example, Gustavsson. Unreal season 2 years ago, Wild were solid. Last year, Wild take a step back, and so did he. Now? Wild are killing everybody, and he’s barely getting scored on at all. Food for thought.
coopaloop1234
I'm sure we've all seen this by now, but I present to you the newest blooper reel that will follow Lindgren around forever. 1 1
Smalls
My favorite part of that is the post game locker room video where they congratulate him for his "First NHL Tuck" LOL.

That's hilarious. I'm sure the atmosphere in the dressing room would be a hell of a lot different had they lost.
Fullright
He really played well despite the tuck and the gs against. Plus, he's got to be one of the goofiest looking goalies around with the 1970s porno mustache.
