Thoughts on the X4 Pro+ chest protector?

I know @ThatCarGuy had the X3 Pro+. So did @WONGER but he ended up going with the X4 Pro.

I used the X3 Pro myself and it was a good unit. Was more protective than my Mach that I'm in and was more customizable for the fit. So typical Warrior, Pro protection, highly modular, unique feel.

Arms and shoulders were massive and the Pro+ has even larger arms and shoulder floaters. I know one common complaint is the size of the unit as it's not NHL legal in any sense.

If you want size, protection, and a lot of customization, they're fantastic units. Especially for being right off the shelf. I ended up switching over to Mach as the fit on their Supreme units fit me very well and the arms were easier to move in, as well as I wasn't a huge fan of the linebacker feel I was getting in my Warrior unit.

Here's a couple pictures. I felt and looked massive and mine was the "smaller" offering from Warrior.

Thanks for the info. I’m coming from a brown that had extra wide shoulder floaters and was also Russian spec so I’m pretty sure the warrior is gonna be smaller, lighter, more mobile and more breathable lol.

I did check out the fit online and it recommended a medium but it says I’m within the large range as well. The shop in my city only has a small, large and XL.
Did you do any measurements or did you just try them on in store?

Tried them on in store.

The one in my pictures was a small. I had a medium RGT Pro a while back too. Body felt great, but even with the arms cinched up they were too long.

With the way the arms function, you really want to nail down the arm sizing on these units. Due to the hinge like style they have, it's pretty important to make sure your elbow is square to where it's supposed to be.
