dnovak Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Finally finished up this beer league bucket. I've been wanting to incorporate a woodgrain look into a paint job for awhile and with the team's main sponsor being a local renovation company, it was the perfect helmet. That's when the idea of coming up with a monster made from scrap lumber started. Jagged pieces of wood make up the mouth and shape the eyes. Behind that, a metallic orange is used to tie in the team colours and inadvertently gives a creepy Jack-O-Lantern vibe. The team colours are incorporated by mimicking the striping from the jerseys on the chin with orange and black stripes over a metallic silver. The last name on the chin finishes the helmet off. Lastly, the backplate is done in the same metallic orange with a reference to MC Hammer. Β More at www.instagram.com/northwoodairbrushing 3 Quote
