Smalls Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Asking $475 USD for members here only, buyer pays ship. Will also be listing on SL Swap for much higher price. I used this two times total. I did cut out the lower most belly flap, other than that it's completely stock. Everything is as expected from a unit of this caliber. Size is Fit 1, aka size Small. 2
insertnamehere Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Wow, what a deal. The exchange rate to Canadian is terrible right now, but even with that it's still a deal. GLWS! 1
keeperton Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Ugh, I'm incredibly tempted/this is exactly what I've been looking for, but short on money for the next couple months. Hit me up if interested in a potentially slow process, because I am interested.

In the meantime @Smalls, I have two questions: what stood out to make you not like the unit (like is it too stiff/feel weird? I'm in a rather broken in unit that I get a lot stingers in, but boy is it mobile) and would you ship it with the removed belly flap?

Okay let me know, got a few others interested right now as well but they haven't pulled the trigger so it's still available. The main things that stuck out to me was just how stiff it felt. I have notoriously picky ideals when it comes to chesties though. I've been through about 4-5 in the last few years in this same manner. Buy them, try them, go back to Passau. I did this with about 3 different Bauer units and 1 Warrior. So I wouldn't take my advice here as a bad omen for this particular chesty. But it felt like I was wearing a 5/8 sheet of plywood on my chest lol. Always rode up into my armpit when I was in a super shot ready stance (which my stance isn't crazy low to begin with). I do not tuck, and I attached the back fight strap to loop in pants. In general I like a chesty to sit fairly high and while the neckline is lower on this chesty since it's a CCM I still found it more interfering of my mask then my Passau which is much bigger in that area. So yeah idk. It's undoubtedly a tank though. I took 2 or 3 hard shots up high, I think you can see the marks in the pics here and I felt nothing at all. Of course you usually need more time than 2 skates to determine that for sure but based on others reviews of it and my experience in those skates I can see it to be true. I would 100% ship with belly flap, just needs to be sewn back on.
Mgoodnight10203 Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 I’ll take it if it’s still available!
creasecollector Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 If it's anything like the CCM's of the past, once it's broken in it should be a great unit for years to come. Just need to make it past that initial break-in stage.
