Looks great! Did Greg do the face mold or yourself? Also, if you've finalized all the details it would be great if you could post them!

I did the mold myself.

Mask will be a short cage and similar to a mid 90s mold (Cujo Blues / Ranford Oilers).

@Wonder35 I knew you were an air traffic controller, but never read the FULL story.

Thanks for sharing that great story.

I am sad to know you’re done playing, but you’ve done it to the fullest, it sounds!

Good onya!!!!

UPDATE

Eighteen months after knee replacement surgery my Harrison and I are back in the game. A year ago I incorporated daily yoga along with aqua fit classes in order to keep this arthritic 70 year old body somewhat flexible. Fortunately the club I have played for over the past 14 seasons has both a 55+ and 70+ age divisions. I get into a few games here and there, a handful over each of the past 2 months.

My BROWN gear has been sold but not my Grafs or my Harrison, not even to the chap on this board who offered me $450. for it ("...after all it needs to be resprayed ...."). I am wearing a set of 10 year old Battram all leather pads/gloves, picked up a used Vaughn V6 C/A and brought an old pair of Vaughn pants back to life.  It feels like the latest set-up weighs 10-12 pounds more than my previous stuff.  But hey I'M BACK IN THE GAME and even stopping a few.  But best of all, no knee pain ....

I heard rumors that you got screwed over in the process, something about not getting the right shell or something.  Can you elaborate on that?

Nothing to the sort. Maybe you got the wrong guy?

It's really funny and a bit sad. So many people are rooting for this endeavor to fail or to pick it apart. I understand Greg's checkered past and many people have a good reason to be skeptical, but this was a no-lose situation for me... $100 deposit and the rest paid upon completion. I was anxious at first. Hoping to get regular updates, but that's not how it really went. To be honest I kind of forgot about the whole thing... then one day I got pictures of my mask! Now the only thing left to do is try it on when it gets here and get some puck marks on it!

I don't remember where I read it, possibly Facebook, but I am almost positive they mentioned your name.  I digress though.  I am looking forward to your pictures!

Nice.  I wish I had known there was a difference when I got my Potvin Protechsport last year.  I feel I was a little unfair towards Michel when I received my mask and thought something looked off about it.  I expected something resembling Mclean, I didn't know the Potvin mold was a long cage.

Wow, it’s incredible.  Wish this mask would make its way back to the NHL.  You can see a lot of their influence in the Pros Choice style.

Many questions for you.  Why do you have so many masks? How many do you have?  Do you have a favorite? Which one fits the best?  Which one has the least ringing/best sound protection when you get hit?  And importantly, what’s going to be next now that you have the Harrison locked down?!?

The foam padding in yours is very similar to that in my 35 year old Harrison.  Greg must have got it right back then.  I have never had any sort of head injury in the thousands of games wearing mine.

This image was taken prior to replacing the interior of my mask a few years ago.

It's very comforting to see a new Harrison, enjoy .............

Here she is! Looks fantastic an fits perfectly! Greg absolutely nailed it... I couldn’t be happier!

(the last pictures are my new short cage next to my GW Marcel Cousineau Leafs Harrison mask.)

Image result for south park cumming meme

That mask is so perfect.  I cannot even begin to describe how jealous I am of you.  While, in my opinion, $1800 is a bit much for an all fiberglass mask...I get it.  Its a small chance to get an all time historic mask.  I cannot wait to get some updates from you once you've had it out on the ice.

Edit - After seeing your mask and my Harrison mold Protechsport and going back and looking at @bc30's mask I am 100% certain the problem I initially had with mine was not knowing there was a different mold for long/short cage and the fact that I would be getting the long cage when I was expecting the short.

The reason I had faith that you (and others) was going to get your mask is for one reason and one reason alone: Greg was going to be building your mask, not take the order, not be building 10,000 other masks and no NHL orders. Some people are great builders but are horrible business people. With a finite amount of slots available and Greg not wearing as many hats, he probably was having a ball doing this endeavour. It is totally different when it is being done like this.

The only reason why I did not do it was that I had 1800 other places for that money. Whilst well worth it, I have a few masks built by another legend, though not nearly as famous as a Greg or a Don.

Your mask is gorgeous and makes me a bit mad with myself that I did not make financial room for one of these.

Enjoy your mask in good health.
