Max27
my guess would be skate cuts but i have never seen this before white padskinz can cover it if it is skate cuts
seagoal
My guess is the combination of being wet and persistent abrasion, perhaps from a post by the look of those red stains? Do you dry your gear out after use? Is that edge of the blocker being rubbed on the post or crossbar repeatedly?

itis121
It may be the seam allowance putting pressure on the blocker face.

TitanG
The stress may be in part due to the plastic board in the blocker being warped by various stresses. I bought a used Reebok P4 605 blocker (the predecessor to the EF series) and the plastic board was pushing on the material; however, not enough to rip it at the point that I got it. ThatCarGuy
These CCM blockers have a pretty big problem with this. I went through 2 in one season because they just kept cracking. My blockers were a CCM E3.9 Int blocker and a CCM Premier R1.5 Sr blocker. I'm now using a Warrior Ritual G3 Sr blocker and I'm happy to say I have no problems with it.
