itis121
I am just curious to know why Bauer's double T is almost tied shut (is it to accommodate to league rules). So I just opened up my 1X today following my one90 pattern. my one90 my 1X I found that I was about 5cm short each side. anyone know that kind of lace to use? Max27
use skate lace or nylon lace if you want to relace it
Max27
Also, the reason its so close is bc thats how Bauer does it. They tie it tighter than other brands. look at the eflex 3 glove double T its massive
Math.
Skate laces works great but I absolutely hate the look. Personaly I've used paracord on all my trappers and it works wonders. - Looks great - You can pick virtualy any color or mix of that you could possibly think of - Super resistant - Dirt cheap - It just swallows pucks compared to the factory cordage Bauer uses. Cant recall off the top of my head.
Math.
I usually use the cheap stuff from AliExpress. The very nature of paracord (multiple threads shielded in a braided sleeve) makes it very strong and has worked great so far for me. No rip, no tears, no snaped cord. The added bonus is that the stuff is dirt cheap and you get a 100' of it. Given the time and patience, you can litteraly redo it multiple time a season, if so wish to!
