Max27
I was at my local rink all day today and saw the new v1 pro + mid price point stick. its like the CR2 to the CR1 A few things I noticed- The weight honestly suprised me a lot. Based off what i heard they made the v1 pro + way lighter than the CR1 and I know this is a price point stick, so you can expect it to be a little heavier, but it didnt feel light at all. I was there with my friend and me and him were checking sticks out and i gave him this stick and an ef3 foamcore and he said the ef3 felt lighter than it, and both were the same size paddle. I had a Swagger stick there and the weight is just about the same based off how it felt holding it They went away from the Railed grip the CR1,2, and 3 had on the shaft, its now like pretty much all other sticks, however kept the Vibexx Since its comparable is the CR2, Comparing the blade, the CR2 has minimus carbon 800 in the blade, while the V1 Senior has Carbon 600 The stick felt good though. It has a very tacky grip around where you grip the stick. Ive used foam cores and wood sticks since I started playing goalie a few years ago and i think the tacky grip around where you hold your stick would/gives more control of the stick. I have a broken Halak 1s stick that i got from the Islanders which has the grip bauer puts on and it felt similar to what Bauer uses. I liked the way it was balanced even though I was expecting it to be lighter, it felt like it was balanced more in the middle/bottom of the paddle. Here's some pics. Feel free to ask anything about it
CJ Boiss
Glad I picked up some CR2s when Tuxedo was clearing out stock.

These felt more like foamcores than composites. if you like the composite feel than you probably wouldnt like these imo.

Yeah, I've been using composite player sticks for decades, so foamcore paddles don't feel responsive enough to me.

ThatCarGuy
If these feel more like a foamcore I'm interested, however I was told by my buddy at monkey sports to wait for the eflex 4 stick if I want that foamcore flex in a composite.
