Big2
Wow what a game - I thought Canada was toast after 2 periods. The wheels fell off on team Russia! Question - I believe this was the youngest Canadian team ever ? I also want to shout out to the Canadian fans - over 3000 Canadian fans where at the tournament, what a bunch of loonies. Peter36
I'm American so I literally did not care the slightest who won this game, but Russia got screwed at the end. There is no way they wouldn't have score on a possible 6 on 3.

What really did the Russians in were the two stupid penalties they took to put Canada on a two man advantage at the end of the game. Still had a chance until those happened. Big2
Coop Good call - here are the details - RULE 67 – PUCK OUT OF PLAY i. When the puck is shot or deflected outside the playing area (including into the players’ bench) or strikes any obstacles other than the boards or protective glass above the ice surface, game action will be stopped and the ensuing faceoff will take place at the nearest faceoff spot to where the puck was shot or deflected, unless otherwise set out in these rules.
