Very nice. Pro players are always fun to play against. Makes you appreciate the pro goalies even more so.

So true! Back when I was in high school some of the guys from my hometown's minor league team (Komets) did camps every summer. It was mostly younger kids who did them, though, so I got a lot of 1:1 work with the team's goalie at the time and took tons of shots from the players. Jim Logan broke the plastic in the palm of my glove and my hand was numb from that same shot for probably the next 2 hours. But man, did going back to practicing against my own teammates seem a whole lot easier.

Do they always touch the ice at that shallow of an angle?

They do ride low don't they. My Bauer 9000s did the same. The squarer the boot the more contact I guess. My GT2s have that slight taper that prevents that. Then again, it might also depend if your toe ties are very slack and if your pads are oversized.

haha I just noticed that. I don’t have issues pushing laterally however.

I don’t think my pads are oversized but I have an interesting way I do my toe ties. They are Kenesky’s

@southpawtendy48 how tight do you wear your pads? The tighter they are the higher they will sit

Hard to say. I wear them relatively tight but the tighter I wear them the more they over rotate and don’t square up back to normal. I’ll try cranking the tightness a little more on the prof. strap and see what happens

Hey @southpawtendy48 I've been thinking of adding slack to my toe ties.  How did you do yours?
