Reebok Revoke Appreciation Thread

I don't think I'm totally alone in thinking this graphic was really cool, although simple, and was most of the time very well done.

Today's pad graphics are really busy, these were simpler times.

Feel free to share really awesome revoke sets or ones that missed the mark.

Lots of love for the Revokes. My first pad when I started on ice. Got my first set 8 or 9 years ago from Dukes ot was a 9800 I think, I knew nothing about goaltending but it was my dream. A year or 2 later I found these white ones, went crazy all over the internet to find a matching glove and blocker lol. The good old days, and after that the obsession of gear started but I'm keeping it under control, I think.

@mr_shifty1982 None of us van keep that under control LOL also sick set Im bummed these came out when ALL WHITE was a huge thing just the color zones were cool (i know it was just the 3 but still)

Back then I didn't know much about the goalie world, gear, forums online.  What happens when you get better and want new gear lol I sure loved the set. From time to time I see goalies still kicking it.

Michel Leighton and his amazing Revoke set really got me into the gear side of the position around 2010. This whole set up with mask and jersey is 11/10!!1280837003_ReebokRevoke1.jpg.8f8cead53d11bdf9ff1e4cec04d7d84e.jpg

Who can forget Flower's powder blue set at the Winter Classic?! Simple but awesome!

Bernie rocked quite the setup with LA's 3rd jerseys! Really wish they would bring these back, the purple and sport gold go so well together!!

The graphic alone on this pad really got me interested in gear and the customization aspects. The two sets below were sets that I sought out for a long time to match my team at the time. Unfortunately, the only pieces of Revoke gear I ever got to own were two 590 gloves. Black and yellow to match the black pads below (Patrick Killeen Brampton Battalion OHL) and a Kamloops Blazers glove (Justin Leclerc). Thanks @Smeds35 for making this topic! I may have to make one for the Bauer TotalOne (my other favorite graphic)!!

Had some white and baby blue Pro Zone gloves back in the day. You can't see the glove's pocket's lace, but that was sport gold.

Personally, I thought the graphic was best when restricted to two colors. I didn't really dig Leighton's or Bernier's design. Not much you could have done with these sets in terms of designs though - there were only the three colorways if I recall correctly.

These are a bit before I got into gear, but my lasting memory of them is Burrows "slay the dragon" goal against Crow.  Hopefully a "Larceny appreciation thread" isn't next... 😬

They were replaying that on TV on the weekend.

Sweet Sweet memories.

I don't know much about the Revokes, what were their selling features?

If I recall correctly, they had a tighter fitting calf wrap. All prior Lefevre pads had really wide open leg channels. I don't think there were any big changes to the glove or blocker.

I believe this was the last time Reebok/CCM offered  Canadian-made gear at retail if the customer opted for the Pro Zone custom pad. Customers could go for the regular Pro pad, which was made overseas.

I had a set of P2's as my first pair and am familiar with the almost non existent leg channel. So the Revokes we're more or less a Premier pad but with a tighter fit?

No softer boot or anything?

They had some really minor changes from Reebok Premier 3. I wasn't working in hockey back then, but I think they were sort of a "limited edition" P3, basically. I've uploaded some catalog pics below.

@ZeroGravitas you are correct. These were the Premier style pad in-between the P3 and P4, basically the P3-LE as you stated. I think there may have been a few additional customization options from the P3. You are also correct in the last offering of Canadian-made Custom retail gear.

Some more great looking sets!

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - Lefevre.

One thing that was cool if you ordered the Pro Zone equipment was that you got a certificate of authenticity (read: a postcard) with your specs on the back. I've kept mine after all these years and scanned them just now.

Makes you feel like a pro.

I think they mistakenly included this invoice in my order, too. I whited out my name, address and the price - I paid retail so it was way more than the CDN prices that were listed here.

Yes remember that! Too bad he left the nhl so fast.

He was a Leafs goalie for his first couple of years - that's like Superman living in a Kryptonite condominium
