Nope ccm 580s are still easy to close it’s just that I’m not a fan of the shape. The dip in the cuff and how much the pocket extends above the hand really throws me off. Bauer 580s are like 600/580 mix as far as shape goes. Looks like that might not be a problem for CCM much longer though. If it is I may start looking into building my own bauer style 580s. Maybe even without the bend in the tee

As shown here the difference between the two glove shapes is massive.

I myself can't get turned on by the CCMs shape either but I have to admit that the basket is far better looking than Bauer's. I don't mind a shallow basket but Bauer is an exaggeration, almost to the likes of a GM21 lolll.

They close, they just don’t close correctly. Many examples out there of ccms that the tees close horribly and they do not seal

That's just Lefebvre gloves. The biggest enigma to me in goaltending is the love of Lefebrve gear.

Miklin makes a 580 too but Russia is a tricky situation right now
