My set is in... will get some pics going. Got them ahead of the tech explanation, so still have to keep details close to the vest.

What's the difference supposed to be between that and the regular straps used to tighten a blocker?

I think he means that he wants that strap to be like the regular one you use to tighten a blocker (velcro), and not the one shown here which is a nylon strap with a buckle to hold it tight. Brian's has their BOA tightening system there (though you can order it with regular velcro instead), so it's all just personal preference.

What is the quick strap? I can't tell from the pic.

ok quick release is the wrong name...

The quick pull strap never stays put.  You can not change it to traditional velcro (at the retail custom level).

The amount of people on these posts (and all Bauer) posts saying it looks like street hockey gear is super annoying. It's such a poor criticism.

It's been a long time, but I'm assuming people said the same thing about Weave back when it first came out too.

That sucks. I would rather have Velcro or a side release buckle to make the tension in the blocker stable. It won't be a deal breaker for me, but it would be annoying to have to constantly tighten the blocker strap to keep it on. It's a change for the sake of change, not for any good reason.

anyone know if sizing is the same as the Axis 1(everything runs bigger than other pads similar to the 20.1) or is it more normalized and the same as Eflex now?  will be trying to get sizing as close to a medium Hyperlite as possible.

For reference, I wear 35 with Bauer, but I would be a 34 in the CCM Premier IIs. I'll have to wait for the new charts to be released. Note that Bauer tends to run a little small compared to other pads, so a 34 (Medium) Bauer would be closer to a 33 CCM than to a 34. Measure yourself just to make sure, because you might be a 34 in CCM.

I pulled both the goalie and full CCM 2022 catalogs, unfortunately neither has a sizing chart - which is weird because it's there for other pieces (chest, pants, helmet, even the goalie knee pad garter belt)

I've heard today that the customizer will drop on 5/17 - same as what I've heard the retail launch date is going to be. A little odd since they dropped the EF5 customizer a month before retail launch - unless that was because it was posted/leaked early here, haha.

Usually the customizer would come out I believe 2 months before release for CCM pads hitting the market, used to be always around April from what I remember (I could be wrong) maybe a month...but this should be interesting.

This is interesting. The Bauer customizer is out, at least for Mach. I've seen several users posting the colours they would like to have on their Mach sets, along with the specs.

The customizer is available in some stores. We were able to use it to order pads last week but had to go in to the store to do it.

Did you get a good look at the URL? How long was the wait time they quoted you?

I've been playing with the Pro Customizer and that's a different URL from the retail ones on CCMHockey.com.
