ilyazhito Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 I've tried to find demo videos on post integration that have a full goalie in them, but I haven't had any luck. I'm looking, because the hands do specific things in both the VH and RVH positions. I'd like to get more knowledge of how to go down into the RVH in particular. I somewhat have the hang of the VH for the glove (glove should be high on the (right) glove side to catch shots, stick should be angled so that the front of the net is covered) and stick (blocker covers the gap between the pad and the post, stick is angled to take away the front of the net, trapper is lower to catch shots/passes across the net face), but I don't know what the hands do in the RVH. Any visuals with a full right goalie would be helpful. Are there any videos of Pavel Francouz or Logan Thompson practicing VH and/or RVH? Quote

I learned everything watching regular goalies. If you really have to, watch the video in a mirror Quote
ilyazhito Posted March 26, 2022 Author Posted March 26, 2022 What exactly do the hands do in an RVH? If I understand that, I might be able to figure out how to apply it "backwards". Of course, I could understand what the hands are doing from watching a regular goalie. However, because I am a visual and kinesthetic learner, watching a full right goalie doing the VH and RVH would be most helpful. Quote
dreadlocked1 Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Was gonna say the mirror thing as well. Watch your videos in a mirror and you have instant full-right. Quote
