Intermediate stick for my son

Hi 

Just looking for different opinions to try and help me make a decision.

 

My 12 year old son is currently using an old p2.5 ccm stick. He finds it heavy.

 

I have 2 options for a 24 inch paddle 

 

1. A slightly used bauer 2x pro for 100$

Or

2. A new ccm eflex 4 for 100$

 

What would you guys purchase

Personally, I'd go EF4. I think the Bauer is a little bit lighter, but the EF4 stick is brand new, which counts for a lot, IMO.

Unless you know how much use the 2X Pro has really seen, I'd never go with a used stick.

EF4 should be quite a bit softer which would be beneficial if your son likes to play the puck or wants to develop that part of his game.

@mariodolphins1010 I don't know what level your son plays at, but I bought 4 of those Eflex 4 intermediates at $100 each last month. 2 have broken already while playing 2-3 times a week.
