  1. Noooo! That's on the top of my list of designs I'd consider on a Bauer setup.
  2. True does not offer a glove with no wrist strap, so that is not really a comparison? CCM made it available to their pro goalies and must switched. Yes, small sample size, but validates that it's well received when promoted and well executed. Most Bauer pros in Supreme use older glove models.
  3. Most CCM 580 pro goalies are using the 580 with the Cross Form (no wrist strap). I don't think Bauer was wrong to remove the wrist strap. Better still be on the customizer.
  4. You bought good gear. The "lack" of sales is just due to lack of education, people being scared to take a risk, etc
  5. Yes, that's what I mean. Feel / being comfortable matters. If you're not comfortable, you won't play well. For better context, I can explain the technical advantage of the calf pillows standard on lots of pads. I can't explain the technical benefit of more torsional flex than a Vapor.
  6. I get needing a "feel", but I can't think of a functional reason why anyone needs more torsional flex than Vapor
  7. In speaking with Bauer, it's pretty skewed that retail customers like the Vapor line 1. Glove - 590 style break is the most comfortable for most people. Supreme gloves tend to do better with large goalies or goalies with bigger hands 2.Stiffness - Stiffness scares people and Vapor is as flexible as they come, without compromising the shape 3. Weight - Lighter things do better at retail and Vapor pads are noticeably lighter FWIW, I think if more people tried Supreme with an open mind, they would like it better. The less athletic you are or athletic saves (Jonny Quick style) you're making, the less the need for the vapor flex. However, if you are flying blind and dropping $3,000... I completely get Vapor feeling like the safer choice.
  8. My Mach film is 18 months old now? No issues with it coming up

But you're in Bauer now... you've seen the light? Why do you want me to go where you gave up? (if this were the 90s, there's endless jokes to be made there) I have informal partnerships with Bauer and CCM. I don't get paid and but they usually set test sets. Warrior and True have sent me stuff intermittently. Warrior has only sent sticks in the past. I am down to try to new stuff... but there's also a balancing act: 1. What reviews get the most views, interest, etc 2. What gear do I enjoy wearing on the ice most? 3. How much bandwidth do I have to create additional content?

That was like 7 years ago... There was a Howard glove too. That V6 chesty, once modded, was legit

I want to try these... been trying to track down a demo
  12. Love my Konekts, here for minor improvements to a stellar product... The black holders though
  13. Yes I have no specific insider info on this one... but my understanding is that he had a business backer (money guy) for Coveted. The business relationship went south. He started Apex with more control over the company itself. Believe this is all similar stories to Wall -> Victory -> Savior
  14. Extra savings for anyone interested https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0CJK3AOqD9/
  15. I had that mask too. I was previously in a CCM M in the GFL Pro and went to an L in the Axis pro.
  16. Is Ozone what Sanisport uses or is that something different?
  17. Anyone own or use one of these? Does it work? https://odorcrusher.com/product/closet-clean/ https://odorcrusher.com/product/dry-clean-sports-closet/
  18. I always felt the same about Factory Mad, I love Dennis, but I couldn't image some of the gloves closed as badly as presented I assumed that was just creative license for the video
  19. I had the Helite IV (black Broduer) and the Helite V (fibers exposed Snow) and I think the Helite V was more durable for me.
  20. Mask companies have responded to me on my IG posts about the back plate gap issue. This is not me doing a virtual fitting or anything and does not replace a proper in person fitting... But the temple fit is supposed to be more important than the back plate fit
  21. Good work, I can take a nap now
  22. between Fit 1,2,3 in NME shape and Profile S, M, L Bauer has 6 sizes. I would be 1 of them fits you. Maybe see if you can try on 950 somewhere?
  23. so... Bauer is not making this easy on the people... 960 / 950 = Profile Shape NME / 940 / 930 = NME Shape The chin and the forehead are the giveaway By size chart, I am a fit 3 in NME and L in Profile. However, due to head shape, I go fit 2 and M (PS - great sweatshirt)
  24. I have sense arena and I love it. My only gripe is that I don't use it more
