  1. For those of you with pants with an inner belt and do the tuck, what’s your setup? last night, I tried tuck, fighting strap, and not anchored in the front. Prior to these pants, I did fighting strap in the back and anchor in the front with no inner belt
  2. Size was great for me. Had them on the “short” setting. I’m a bit over 6’1”
  3. Got some new pants. First pair ever with an internal belt. Not sure if I’m in or out on that feature I really like the use of the abrasion resistance material on the trim. It’s subtle, but pants always look like shit so quickly. pants are light. Wore them once, mobility was great thanks @TGC-Rance @TGC Devin for the great service as always
  4. I have pics of his pads and his gloves, but not a clean full set. Been waiting to post that...
  5. you might want it to be Kraken colors, haha, but my guess is that it's just a reflection and that zone is silver to match the rest of his set
  6. Vaughn called it a custom for Quick, they posted on my post.
  7. Rebounds skyrocketing off Bauer pads break up plays. For me, it's the biggest benefit of new tech on gear and I have yet to see anyone close to Bauer.
  8. I did very much have this opinion of True / Lefevre post CCM split. I tried 20.1 for a couple skates, borrowed a set from @Chenner29 and was quite disappointed. With that said, True is not really being first to market with any gear innovation either... but Px was one of the most surprising sets of pads that I have tried. It doesn't have the tech of some of the other gear, but there's also almost nothing to complain about.
  9. Features 3D printed nest tech Not my helmet, haven’t been hands on with it
  10. D30 won't allow that. There is a concern that detergent, water, and heat will degrade the padding prematurely.
  11. Thanks for the feedback. True compression was not a goal of this. We wanted snug, but not compression tight. So hopefully you can find a recipe that works.
  12. I would call this this the Bauer playbook, haha IMO it seems like CCM is looking at post Lefevre as a reboot like Bauer did with OD1N. Bauer did a great job at getting their OD1N gear in the CHL, NCAA, and then had just a couple pros to start? Like Hank, Freddy, and Reimer. They recruited younger goalies like Vasi, Oettinger, Knight, Ullmark, and Sorokin. Overtime obviously, those guys have risen to be the top goalies in the league and everyone has seen them wearing the gear during their rise. In my CCM analogy, Demko and Markstrom are the steady guys like Lundqvist. Now they are building out their young guys with Wolf, Levi, Skinner, and the NCAA / CHL guys.
  13. A few small ones, but nothing outside of normal
  14. Spoiler alert from my pending review... I find EF6 weave slides worse than my Axis 2 SS. True weave slides just fine just fine for me. My takeaways? It's the orchestra of the internal foams, shapes, and the outer material than define how well a pad slides... But weave can work "good enough". Curious if CCM "fixes" their slide in this generation. FWIW, I have not seen much change in speed since Bauer / Brian's / Vaughn did OD1N and Primo. Someone at the tops needs to innovate again and CCM has had plenty of time to catch up.
  15. Had those above? This is where I’m at. There’s a general consensus of what looks good. People are in the business to sell gear. We fillet “bad graphics” and so it narrows the pool of new ideas. So lots of things are a trend and graphics look similar.
  16. But then there is me... who's True 580 is his least favorite 580. C&As and Gloves are just purely qualitative...
  17. Can confirm this too. I tried to get Mach internals on a 90 and it was a no go.
  18. Been available at pro since OD1N was new? First time available at retail. Custom only right now.
  19. Exactly, I joked with CCM that 600 is going on a run
  20. Thanks for the detailed feedback @acharmedmatrix. The D30 can be easily cut with scissors. For example, if something interferes with your shoulder, cut like 1/2" off and it should function the same.
  21. I saw a shadow prototype, it was NOT a 90. However, I don't know how final it was or what it was really. To my knowledge, Vapor break is #1 seller at retail. Supreme break is #1 use at pro. Theory is that Supreme does not do as well at retail because the goalies are typically smaller than pro goalies and that break suits larger hands more. I hate the 600 / T5500 break and somehow Mach is definitively my favorite break. The subtle tweaks from US to Mach was a game changer for me. With that said, if they change something at Retail... Supreme = 90, Vapor stays the same, and Supreme becomes the "cool" custom only option? FWIW, I love a 90... but I think some of the hype around it is the scarcity. If Supreme becomes custom only, pros stick with it, then I predict that will become "hot" for custom orders. People want what the pros have and they can't get at retail.
  22. I have seen and touched a Shadow sample, but have not gotten the tech break down. Not sure how much is new yet? One thing Bauer said to me regarding the HL2 name was to reflect that HL2 was a moderate evolution of Hyperlite. That ties into the marketing popularity, but makes me wonder if Shadow will have more new technology.
  23. As a guy who likes sneakers, this pic bugs me. What to needlessly flex your travis scotts
  24. haha, made this post in a flurry before my draft. needed somewhere to host my logo image.
