  1. Does the px3 pads settle or break in? I’m landing a bit low on the knee block..
  2. New set up! Hopefully they feel as good as they look.
  3. I’m so confused because when I use the chart I should be in a 32(19/19.5KNF) for a PX3 however my current pads (Kenesky 33+2 / Brian’s 33 + 1.5) line with a 33+ 1 for the true 20.2s. The thigh rise is slightly lower about a .5 inch. So I was thinking about going with a 33+1.5 in the PX3.
  4. So the difference in knee block location is 1 inch between the 12.2 vs the PX3? Also it appears the thigh rise is an inch difference? Can you confirm?
  5. Thanks. I currently wear a coveted combo with a cropped chin without a dangler and have had one chin crack but it is easy to swap out. I want to purchase the mage RSi but I don’t want the chin to crack on me and I don’t want to wear a dangler.
  6. Guys, I’m interested in purchasing a Sportmask Mage RSi but I’m worried about the chin cracking. I have had a 960 and a Pro3 and both chins have cracked. Any feedback from chin cracks occurring with the innegra material or any other cracks? Thanks for the help in advance.
  7. I have skates on them again and it removed all the hot spots! I had my local hockey shop bake them via the normal bake process. Then I input the cut 2x4 shims.
  8. Crap…ok I’ll delete it. I have it on sideline swap as well.
  9. I’m selling my VE8 pro carbon chesty THS spec (beefed up) then I sent it back to Vaughn for NHL pro spec arms in a size small. I played one season in the beer leagues and asking $300USD. I’m located in AZ for local pick ups.
  10. Yes they have some at my local hockey shop. When I head there tonight I’ll confirm the price and send you a photo.
  11. Does anyone know the length of the mage rs chin? Is it below 3 inches?
  12. On wed I’m going to local hockey shop to have them bake the shell(this will be my 3rd bake)and I’m inserting wooden “shims” to widen the foot bed. I’ll let you know how it goes.
  13. Got a good deal on the Bauers and the Trues are showing wear. The Bauers flex was another big driver. If I can get rid of the hot spots it would be well worth. If not I’ll put them on sideline swap.
  14. Just purchased the Bauer konekt and have wide feet coming from a true custom. During the baking process the skates felt snug and I did not have any hot spots. I played my first game last night and the flex was amazing. It really is a game changer. Now for the bad news…I had 2 major hot spots below the ankle on both on the inner and outer foot for each foot. The skates hurt like hell by the end. My Trues did not have one hot spot. I’m going to rebake with shims and see how much I can widen the exterior boot. Also your foot does slide a bit due to no laces. I’m going to try to crank them down next skate. More to come…
  15. If you like the coveted, try the coveted 2 piece combo. Ron is the best!
  16. Top of the ankle I experienced a ton of pain when I flexed and it was either too tight or too lose. I imagine once it’s baked it will get better but not sure if I want to chance it for $1k.
  17. The Bauer konekt skate is now available for sale at Perani’s hockey world. The fit seems a bit odd…almost pulled the trigger but I couldn’t get over the fit.
