    I used Titan sticks in the 70’s. I taped my stick like this before a game and after the game my dad told me to take the tape off the paddle so the whole Titan name showed. Some other parents in the stands commented on my tape job and didn’t like it. Titans had a plastic insert in the bottom of the blade and were pretty durable, but also heavy.

    That’s a knee pad. I had a similar Cooper set in the 70’s. They weren’t leather like Hall’s look like they’re covered in. Basically a cap over the knee with a short thigh rise. Mine were better than nothing, but in the gear back then you felt a lot of shots and always had bruises somewhere. Great thread. Will have to keep my eye on it since I started playing in the 70’s.

    Nice! I was in Bowling Green in September for my 40th high school reunion. Saw the rink for the first time since 1990. The small rink was the curling rink when I was a kid in the 70’s. On my bucket list to do a stick and puck there before I have to hang up the pads.
