I try to keep colours separated in some way when designing thing. I'll go into detail when the order is paid for on why I did what.

I just put an order in for my set. Not anything special besides matching the airknit wsith the panels they are on for colour.

I have experience in skate fitting. The CCM part is evident because of how behind they are in tech and the decision they make just to add a bulletpoint to their products. Like D3O in the tongue of a goalie skate...

Bauer goalie skates in general don't fit many feet. Problem is CCM makes an awful goalie skate.

CCM is hilarious in this skate launch. "No outsole! But ignore the giant piece of plastic attached to the bottom of the skate!"

I had that happen to me, then a "next week we'll get it and I'll contact you" then nothing and then I contacted them and never got a reply. I decided that my business was better spent elsewhere.

How did you manage to get a pair of SLR? Vaughn told me I would be able to get a demo... Then nothing and they stopped replying.

I think the 2S graphics are a huge miss. 1S was different and limited but these don't offer enough colour on them.

Finally get to try these... Hopefully I'll like them enough that I will still want my custom pair. These don't have a boot strap or standard toe ties... So we'll see how that works.

Nope, might add some colour to the outside edges... But besides that it will be all white.

Ordered both, wanted to see if the sight lines in the cheater were okay. And attatching to the cage has always worked well for me, what's the advantage to the ears?

CCM one is awful, don't touch it. I can't believe that thing is over $100 it feels so cheap. Bauer one is good, there is an updated one coming out (it'll be blue), and Bauer one is made of 37.5 material which means it stays a bit dryer while playing. I used the Verbero player one, it runs hot so don't wear a shirt underneath it. But the player one wasn't long sleeve and that is why I did it. They also run very long, so the bottom of mine was bunched up when I wore it. Unequal has a nice one out, but I haven't gotten a chance to see it in person.

I wish Bauer sold their new XPM foam as replacement kits... So comfy. Also wish Maltese sold full mask kits and not strips.

I'm torn on the 1-piece vs 2-piece. I don't really care for a forward pitch or for the taller height. But I also don't like that the carbon holder could break and then I'd have to buy a completely new skate... Which I'd rather just replace a holder. Now I know that the carbon holder has held up well, but I did see a pair on ggsu with a crack on the toe cap that ran down to the carbon holder... So that makes me a bit weary and I like the option of being able to replace pieces. Regardless, I can't wait to get a pair.
