That’s what happens when they come with an external break. I’m sure that mine are much stiffer since I ordered them with the extra stiff thigh rise and no external breaks. All part of the options that can make one line of pads flex into both roles.

It’s not bad at all but the other one is actually more comfortable. Definitely for aesthetics (and because I don’t have that many more sticks yet).

Anything is possible if you try hard enough. ...but I hope that doesn’t cause pop outs with the pocket being so tight.

Have you tried to actually force a puck to go through one of the holes rather than just setting a puck in the pocket and saying that the puck is bigger than the holes?

I can’t see a net weighing anywhere near 500lbs. You would y be able to pick it up to put pegs in it. My best google said 80-125lbs. Most of the rinks I’ve been at also store the nets like this.

It took a bit of time to break in but I rarely have issues now with pucks bouncing off of me. Just the occasional high shot that I didn’t see until the last second.

I just got my Warrior V2 Pro+ stick. It’s a 25” paddle and weighs 632g.

Only spot I have ever gotten was right by the front of my arm where it bends in my Vaughn V7 unit. No issues with my Optik 2 but I got a beefed up arm on it

I don’t see anything visible about the extra padding but I haven’t seen a stock on to know the difference.

I have had a set of G5 pro pads since the end of may. I love these pads. I ordered them with an extra stiff core giving more rigidity in the thigh rise. Rebounds on these pads are great. -
Got my chest in today. Hopefully I can get it on the ice soon without it being a playoff game. The arms definitely seem to be stiff, I got extra padding added to the ribs/side and arms. Glove mobility seemed to be pretty good and didn’t have much interference with my mask.

Just got my new Optik 2 chest and arm. Added some extra padding to the ribs because I’m not sure about the Velcro in pillows that they have.

Any updates on how you like the chest? I’ve been thinking about getting one and probably getting the arms beefed up a bit.

Why didn’t you just go with the full Optik 2? I have a V7 pro carbon that I’m not happy with the arms anymore and was looking at the Optik 2 or possibly the Axis if I can get it for a deal that I can’t pass up.

I feel like I really shouldn’t since I’m 6’3” and my head is above the net when I am challenging shots but I have started playing a lot more since June. i got one last fall before I replaced my mask and two bars that were both dented on separate nights a few weeks ago. I am playing 4 nights a week right now and have been anywhere from 2-5 days a week this summer.

I guess I should have been more direct and asked how often your cages are getting dented. I had one dented a couple weeks ago and ordered a cage that night. I played again the next day with my dented cage and managed to dent a different bar.

How often are you changing out cages on your mask?

Why did you go with a custom pro G3 versus something newer?

They charged me 50 CAD for shipping my whole set. I think it took 4-5 days to get to me in NC.

I put mine down to the calf. I like the way it keeps my knee so open and lets the pad drop down more to cover a bit of the huge 5 hole I have which has seemed to help me a bit closing it up. I still do not like the stick toe strap and need to figure out a better way to use pro laces. The toe strap is already starting to fray a bit but I have played 25-30 times in them.

But according to warrior they never shut down production. I looked at my G5 set and I don’t see these issues. i also have no external break to look at for unevenness.
