I had the exact same problem with my ankles to. Took me awhile but putting on a lace bite pad on the tongue and wearing the gel sleeve u have pictured. The one that’s up high on the ankle. That combo worked with absolutely no pain again. But another thing I did was cut the tongue where the pain was at. It worked but in my new skates I didn’t wanna do that, so I found a solution with the lace bite pad and the gel sleeve.

Is it possible to put the Bauer vertex holder on a ccm boot. My son Likes the pitch of the Bauer and also just got some new step steel On the vertex holders to.

Do u guys find that goalie sticks loose there rigidity, firmness, and puck difflection over time. My 3sticks have lost there ability to snap pucks to the boards. Feel almost soft What u guys think. there not broken. I have made sure of that. Warrior v1 pro +, ccm pro lite, true 7x is what I have.

U will be in impressed with its performance. I play against some mid to high level players. Took some shots to the head today. Not an ear ring or a bad experience with my 940. I have a cats eye tho. very impressed, coming from a sport mask to.

My glove and blocker stunk after games. So my hands would smell like, well u Guys know I would clean m 2times a season and they would still smell. I found the Gear Halo pods. I put the in my mitts after every game. I found my savour in these pods. My hands don’t smell and both mitts are smell free. I actually smell good at the end of the game. You could use m in skates also. Gear Halo Pods have lasted me 3 seasons and still going.

Get good steel for your skates. a big must.

I have to vouch for the warrior. even the sr line gear is good. I play against high level ex whl and pro players and they fire the puck. excelent mobility when broken in to. I seen a xl on sideline to for cheap almost new to. FYI. I have only used the GT line not the newer versions.

I use the magic eraser. And for tougher deep marks I use a white eraser with some sort of cleaner. Think I used dish soap. It Dosent totally get the deep marks out but it get 90% of the mark out. I have hypers with Mach skin.

I’m on the fence bauer 940 or a sportmask X8 i have seen the Bauer and seems like plastic and very flexible. the sportmask x8 is very rigid and seems more durable. the Bauer is super comfortable and light and the sportmask heaver and denser foams. Any opinions out there. I don’t have the funds for a 950 or the more expensive mask.

Something that is protective but not so hot to wear. Something that stays cool. I wore my son and couldn’t use it. I wonder how the roughneck or the Other foam types are

I’m looking for a good moisture wicking long sleeve. I hate a wet long sleeve under my chesty. I had a good long sleeve awhile ago, but lost it. I can’t remember what brand it was. When I took off my gear at the end of a game the shirt was 90% dry. wanting see what u guys recommend.

I have a Bauer custom Mach glover beefed up palm and fingers. used for 3 games. Just can’t get used to the angle. Will trade for a chest protector XL or a lrg navy white red looking for 400$ cdn + ship located in Alberta Canada

I went from eflex 4 to Bauer hyperlite pads/mach blocker. The difference isn rebound is night and day. Sliding is effortless with the bauers. The thigh on the hyperlite is flexible like the ccms. I have a narrow butterfly also. Closure is very good. Can’t go wrong with the bauers

My set came in. mach skinned, hyperlite guts on the pads. Basically a stock hyperlite pad. blocker and glove are Mach. 36xl pads went with the old scoo leather buckles. navy white red

I made the wrong choice by going to a Lrg warrior c/a. I got a few shots to the wrist. Lucky i didn’t break my wrist bone to. The arms are short on the Lrg. I should have got the xl. be carefull and make the right call. I’m 6.2 230lb. Not the longest arms but enough to expose my wrists. dam good chesty tho.

Bauer all day

My first custom set. Big day when they get here. Order sent yesterday Pads XL Mach skinned ,Hyperlite guts. Semi soft thigh, soft boot, thick profile glover Mach, reinforced T, poron at palm base blocker Mach one piece, thumb pillow added I tried the hyperlite glove in store and the ultrasonic glove. The ultrasonic is basically the Mach glove, I think. I like the deep pocket of the Mach hyperlite was very comfy tho but went with U.S Navy and red will update when they get here

Just looking at grants helmet. Look how close his forehead is to the opening in the vents of the helmet. almost no padding to protect.

I bought my son a ccm gatekeeper. Super frumpy. He couldn’t use it. He got use to the new stream lined ccm gear to try the bulgy ccm gatekeeper. it’s very protective tho. Not sure if this is what u mean.

Also I’m a eflex type of guy. I like the pucks I’m front of me. I’m to fat and old to get back over to the other side of the net. Like the puck to stop in front of me. So I can whack at ankles. all and all im a soft pad goalie. And a ccm hardcore. I have tried them all and always go back to ccm.

Does anyone know whats next for ccm. Any pics or info. I’m on the hunt for new gear and don’t wanna buy ccm ef5s if I’m only a few months away from the new line stuff.

I'm a guy who wants clean looking pillows. I have noticed the speed skin dosent clean as easy as jenpro or even bauers new cortech. Any body have any opinion on the best way to get m white again. The magic eraser does a decent job, but not as good as I would like. Would goof off work or would it damage the speedskin.
