  1. Hello friends, Apologies if this isn't the right sub-forum for this question: A very long shot but what are the chances or how would you go about getting one of the new Rangers 3rd jerseys in a 58G? Alternatively (and if this is against the rules please delete this post) where could I look to find an “unofficial” version of this jersey? Cheers xoxo
  2. Thank you for the tips and advice on the drying part - I will give them a try. Any advice on what glue/adhesive to use on the white/cream portion of the foam?
  3. Its a Bauer 960 - about 2.5 years old - it looks like this inside when new (see attachment). The piece that is coming loose is the upper cheek/eye piece.
  4. Hi all, A bit of a random one, but do any of you have any advice for how to best dry out your mask between skates? I have a problem where the foam in my mask seems to be constantly damp, like if I apply pressure to any of the foam I can easily squeeze out some mask juice I am skating twice a week and I can just never get it dry. Linked to this, one of the damp bits of foam is coming away from the shell - what is the best adhesive to glue this back in? Many thanks
  5. Yep I think I'm in the same boat here then. I've been in Warrior gloves since the G3, had a Hyperlite 1 - couldn't get used to it so I went to a G5. Recently got a digiprint Hyperlite set with the V90 glove and its nice, but just not the same level of mobility/snappyness and again struggling with adapting to the pocket position. Guess I'm Warrior for life on the glove side - digiprint for them when?!
  6. Quick question - which out of the 3 Bauer gloves (Mach, Hyperlite, V90) is closest in shape to a Warrior G6 (ignoring the internals/liner options).
  7. How are you gents getting on with your mods? I am in the same boat where I just can't get the top strap to feel tight enough or feel "konektd" to the skate for quick forward/backwards c cuts compared to my regular skates.
  8. I don't have so much of a gear rotation - it's more of an occasional "curiosity" every now and then with old stuff I haven't gotten around to selling yet. My current curiosity has been going back to my custom True skates after many months of being perfectly happy in Konekts. Once I've scratched that itch, I tend to go back to my normal set for a while. At some point, I'll probably flit between my Vapor90 and Warrior G6 90 palm gloves and every now and then I'll go from a 25" to a 26" paddle for a game or two.
  9. Vapor90 users - quick question! I just got my glove and used it for the first time yesterday - have you found that the glove doesn't seal the ice when freezing the puck? It seems I can either put the palm/heel of my hand down on the ice, but then the pocket of the glove is off the ice and the puck could slide out the front, or I can put the pocket down on the ice but then my heel is up and it could slip out the back. Thoughts??

    Warrior G6

Has anyone found that going from a G3/4/5 to the G6+ a bit of a weird experience? I have been in Warrior gloves since the G3 and loved them - I just got in my G6+ and I don't know what is up but I just can't catch anything with the thing. Pucks keep hitting the thumb of the glove and just bouncing out, nothing is trapping cleanly. Just interested to see if anyone else has had similar experiences.

    Keeping gear fresh

Hi all, I just got my new set in and its likely going to be the last set I get for a long time so I am very invested in making this last and keeping it in great condition. My plan of course is to get the gear out, wipe it down and air it after every use, but wanting to go a step further I wondered what sprays/cleaning tools you use to keep your gear fresh as possible, specifically thinking along the lines of the inside of your gloves and what can be used on helmet foams. Cheers!
  12. You mean like this? Should hopefully get this back this week!
  13. Warrior glove has finally arrived, completing my set: Of course, in the time it took the Warrior glove to arrive (ordered end of Jan, arrived April 20) Bauer announced that they will now make catchers with a 90 degree break so I have some decisions to make

  15. Always used UnderArmour HeatGear and never had any complaints personally!
  16. As the topic suggests, is there any indicaton or a time frame for when we might be able to order custom batches of the M2i sticks?
  17. Any tech/marketing material out yet on the pants?
  18. Yep this has been my decision to push through my custom order now rather than wait - the new calf feature on the HL2s seems to be moot anyway when ordering custom as you get an IIHF/NHL spec calf. I went for a stiffer knee block this time around too.
  19. Can I just ask for clarification for my own confusion here? I am looking at starting off the process for an otherwise stock set of Hyperlites apart from a custom vintage graphic - I have a HL retail set already and love and don't want to change anything on them - if I went down the graphics route would I not end up with the HL retail calf pillow?
  20. Very interesting! Can anyone comment on what the Double-Bracket MACH calf is like compared to the current Hyperlite 1 pads? Would the potential Single Bracket option on these new pads alter the feel? I'm wanting to order a set with custom graphics - I absolutely love my current Hyperlites and so the dilemma is do I stick with something I know or take a chance on the newest version without being able to see/test them because of where I live (UK).
  21. Hi friends, I recently got a Hyperlite set to replace an outgoing Warrior G3 set. The pads and blocker are great, but one thing I can’t get used to is the glove. I have narrowed the cause of this down to the cuff on the back of the glove - On the warrior, well there isn’t one really - so you have superb mobility. On the Bauer, the cuff extends on the back of the glove to cover a portion of the back of the wrist which I’m finding is interfering with my movements. The question really is simple - how hard do you think it would be to remove the cuff piece and the wrist strap without hacking the glove to bits? Cheers!
  22. Trip report – I've ended doing a cheap experiment which was to get a couple of the new lower end V2E+ sticks, one with a Mrazek and one with a Bishop curve. I've found that the Bishop (for me) is easier to play the puck with as I have a bit of a pull > push motion with the stick as I pull the pull the puck into the curve before shooting so the bit of extra curve of the toe seems to help with that compared to the more open face on the Mrazek. Now to work out if I prefer the M1 or V2 line of sticks...
  23. Ah - I didn't mean to refer to the stick being balanced, but rather I meant that for the Warrior made me feel balanced in my stance and in my movement compared to the other manufacturers that I've used. I'm not sure if that is down to the sizing, the lie, or the curve itself and so I was asking if changing curve from the Quick to a Bishop or Mrazek could change that - if so, then maybe I'd be better off just staying with the Quick as movement and control are way more important to me than puck handling.
  24. Hi friends, I have a long and arduous relationship with goalie sticks - I'm like Goldilocks (this one is too stiff, this one is too short...). I have finally settled on Warrior being the right brand for me. I'm currently using a 26" CR1 Quick curve, the size is great and it seems to put my body in the right position when skating to make my mechanics feel nice and balanced and in control making stick saves. The problem, however, is that the Quick curve sucks for puck handling (yes, yes I know its my technique...) - I just can't get any zip on passes and forget lifting it or clearing the puck around the glass. During my stick odyssey, I've tried P31 and Price curves, with better success in this aspect of the game. So where my question lies (heh), is if I were to switch to the Warrior equivalent of the P31 (Bishop) or Price (Mrazek), are the lies/balance for these curves different to the Quick and would I be putting at risk the happy place that I've found with the more important aspects of skating and making saves? Unfortunately due to my location, I have to buy things unseen and untested so I need to find out as much in advance as possible. Many thanks xoxo
  25. Any idea when these will be released?
