My sons are going to be driving from the midwestern USA to Maine, but via southern Ontario and then through Montreal. They plan on stopping at The Goalie Crease in Richmond Hill, who we've ordered gear from over the years. But they'd like to know if there are some quality goalie shops in Montreal, where they will be for a few days, that carry Warrior gear. Primarily looking for new G6 "senior" level gear, but are open to "new old stock" if any G5 equipment is left. Any advice from those members in the area is much appreciated, it will be their first time in Canada!

Following up on this for posterity... Ordered a large. It arrived. Jubilation ensued. However, despite the Warrior sizing guide on their own website site and Goalie Monkey's saying large is for a wingspan of 73" - 76" the backplate on the actual G5 Pro shows large as 69" - 74" That said, I tried it on and after some adjusting, it felt great, despite the conflicting sizing information. While visually I could use another inch on each arm, I think if the arms were any longer than they are, it would rub up against the glove in a weird way, so I'm content with it as is. Thanks to all who took the time to read and comment!

I'll try that. If I get anything from them, I will post an update here for anyone who may need this info in the future!

I live in a hockey desert else I would just go to the local shop and try them on, but would like to avoid ordering and returning an item online, so here goes... What, if any, are the difference between the XL and L in the G5 Pro sizing wise? I see the sizing chart references wingspan only. I'm 6'2" with an unusually larger wingspan of 77". The sizing chart says I should get XL, but I'm worried I'll be swimming in the torso if it is meant for a heavy guy. I only weight 180, but do have broad shoulders. Very lean, low body fat. Any experience trying to fit one of these? Thanks in advance!

For those who follow...I contacted Warrior directly via their website and was told the following RE: the G5 gloves: "In the G5 trapper, we have two versions the G5 Pro trapper and the G5 SR+ Trapper. In regards to the G5 blocker we have the G5 Pro blocker and the G5 SR+ blocker." So I guess that answers my question!

Thanks, guys. Weird that a vendor would distinguish between the two, but I've lurked on the forum for many years and you guys are all solid. I'm not sure if that is Solid with a + or without a +, however. Price was the same for either model, so I have to assume it's the same glove. I really appreciate your help!

Hi! Loyal Warrior customer here, going back to Swagger days... I'm looking at multiple major online catalogs and noticed that some are referencing the G5 SR catcher and blocker as G5+ while others reference G5. (no plus) I looked in the 2020 Warrior catalog posted here, but couldn't really find anything specific about catcher and blocker differences other than Pro and SR. But my eyes aren't what they used to be, admittedly. One site specifically lists the models as G5SPB0SR (blocker) and G5SPT0SR (catcher) which appear to indicate G5-PLUS-BLOCKER-SR and .G5-PLUS-TRAPPER-SR if my guessing of model numbers are correct. Other sites don't provide that level of detail to compare them by model #. All that said, I just want to know if they are the same glove or a different glove. And if different, how? Materials, country of origin, etc. Any insight is very much appreciated!
