  1. The best part is when the camera man quickly fixes his hairs (for a better shot I suppose !) LoL !!!
  2. Is "My last JackStrap who cracked in half when I got a shot", a good answer to this question ?
  3. It is definitely a wierd glove and I wonder if it was even legal to play with that lol. I suppose there were no rules back in the day on gear specification.
  4. Definitely this Cooper glove with 3 pockets !
  5. It's 3 hours from here but it's not impossible if you really want me.
  6. These are good shots, pretty much what I produce on private shoots like this. Except I dont crop my photos Congrats, it makes nice photos for you in action
  7. Oh boy ! haahah ! I am not even sure if our team's name is related to this at all ! I'll have to ask the captain !!!
  8. Ok sooo for my part, 2022-2023 plans are simple. Just ended my crazy superbike photography season at my local track. Did around 25 events since mid-may. So I'll gladly take a rest during winter and shoot other things. Playing with my official NWO Wolfpack team in a league where there is enough teams that you dont play often against the same, so it's almost always a new team. Also playing on saturday noon in a competitive but friendly pickup league where teams are ALWAYS even. I dont know how he does it, but it's the first time I see this He knows his players I suppose. Also working on being the official photographer for the new LNAH team that arrived this year. Already photographed 2 pre-season games and got solid photos and very nice comments from the people around the organization and spectators also. Hoping the organization can find a bit of money for me. Here are a few photos of their last game, if you are interested : https://www.facebook.com/Alexandre.Poitras.Photographe/posts/pfbid0KeJyb6MA6WLDV3gksFiepR1VJgyJMKGnLW1Eh4BjFk1eLaGLvK6VdCRwHh5FNQCAl
  9. Placid, is it for the CHE Enterprise tournament ? We went there before shit hit the fan and won the tourny in the 35+ division. It was a nice tournament, we had a lot of fun also after the games
  10. Yeah they are now 7 teams this year.
  11. I'm already playing in 2 leagues for this winter, but I will check with some of my friends who lives around if they would be interested . Also if you ever need photos of you in action, let me know, I can easily organize that for you
  12. I'm still there, I'm still there ! Just had a crazy summer season of shooting superbikes at my racetrack. Been working almost 60h-70h/week since mid-may. 3 more weeks and the moto photography season is over, I will shoot hockey games once a week with an LHNA near Montréal, if things are going the way I want. If you wanna see some shots I do, head over to Instagram and let me know what you think !
  13. Hey by the way in anyone of you guys would like to have professional photos to "show off here" and that you are around the area on Montreal, Qc. Please let me know, we can arrange that very easily during on of your local games. Thanks !

  16. Hummm it might have changed. On my side, I bought some Bauer 2XPro. I normally wear 9.5 as shoes, so my skates are 8D.
  17. The positive thing is that your mask cage won't rust ! hahaha !
  18. Have you ever seen the story of the guy who bought a custom Lefevre kit and realized after playing with it that it was finally too tall for him ? The dude went to his local shoe-maker/cobbler and asked him to cut the pads to be shorter ... Man I gotta find these photos again. The job was awful !!! Initial Pads : Modified pads :
  19. Are you crazy ??? It would remove all the luck my gear has accumulated over the years !
  20. How many birds did you killed for that ? lol
  21. FOLLOW-UP : I sent an email to a local shop here in Montréal called ARS Sport with the photos. http://www.arssport.com/en/contact.html I went there a few years back to replace my blocker palm and the bottom of my old goalie pads. They did an awesome job. They replied back to me 2 days ago and they would be able to proceed with the repair by replacing the toe cap for 85$CAD with a 2 days delay for doing the job. Looks like it's going to be the way I'll go for as it will be a pro repair and the job will mostly be guaranteed if anything happens soon after. I'll keep you posted with another follow-up !
