  1. I'd imagine they're very comparable. Aside from the strapping change up, they looked and felt very close to G6 pads. And yea, Pro only has the Hypercomp Trav's reviews are fucking garbage. Feels like a whole lot of hot air in video form. Warrior rebounds are pretty middle of the pack and that was my experience preG6. So I'd imagine they're stronger now. G6 E and G6 Pro were wildly different in stiffness. You could flex the senior model pretty easily, Pro was very stiff. Almost Mach stiff. Correct. The knee stack has been modified a bit to get a more integrated feel that's become the new range. Cam at The hockey shop told me it's similar to Stabiliflex in feel.
  2. Better work on your tongue game. I feel like the CCM Premier and Premier 2 (second iteration) had a decent bespoke customization options available at retail. I remember it being pretty unique compared to the other companies.
  3. Yea, after my comment I looked up Bob's '24 set and the notch is visible. True's new model is very on par with Bauer's in that options at full custom essentially let you pick and choose a myriad of specs that blends lines together. Shit, if it wasn't for the defacto yearly release schedule, these guys may as well just be releasing one line at a time. Well all the 4.1 users pads are all skinned to the latest stiff pad version. I think True is fortunate that they have a wide spread of users at the NHL level that needing to tinker with graphics for marketing purposes doesn't make sense. They just naturally get it. Definitely. The more options the better for us retail plebs. No longer is it CCM and Brian's for easy to acquire customization,
  4. Which is just a skinned 20.2 no? I'm under the impression the Hazardous is just a 20.2 with a PX3 thighrise.
  5. But are those guys is Hazardous? Or are they PX3's skinned? Or 12.2's skinned? Or 20.2's skinned? I think the 4.1's stand out more because of how easily identifiable they are.
  6. The elastic knee strap down to the calf on Mach pads is more of a suggestion. Stabilislide really is cool.
  7. Nothing I've done myself. They're stock CCM Tacks, just before they completely abandoned using cowlings all together. https://www.thehockeyshop.com/blogs/goalie-gear-reviews/ccm-tacks-goal-skate-review It's essentially just a toe cap for slightly better protection and style points.
  8. None of the padding is going to be in the correct spots as the unit is far too large for you. The resale on 2S C/A's isn't great, but, hacking up your current unit would just leave you with a C/A that's more or less useless. I'd highly recommend just going to get a proper fitting unit instead of trying to Frankenstein your current one.
  9. Usually a 6 pack will do the trick. Win or Lose, we booze.
  10. Well, well, well. Looks who's back.
  11. The skate guards still being on is bugging me.
  12. Yea, we'll have to have an intervention after your pads come in.
  13. I'm just happy you're embracing colour
  14. Just pictures. Don't expect anything too different than the current Mach chesty. Which is a good thing. It's my favourite I've ever had
  15. Can you do #1 without the ice blue?
  16. https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/nba-market-size-nfl-mlb-nhl-nielsen-ratings/#:~:text=As of the 2023-24,Worth. Wanted to do some research to see how true that is and I came across this. Atlanta is right up there for Big 4 veiwership ratings in the USA without a NHL team. Definitely makes sense why they really want to nail down that market if possible. Funny enough, Phoenix isn't far behind. Makes sense why Bettman and Co. are just refusing to let the Coyotes leave and keep taking that embarrassment of a franchise on the chin
  17. Ah, for some reason I thought you had the XF on order as well. C'mon, do eeet
  18. You're at what? 4 pads now?
  19. Anyone able to clarify what's different with the stock Shadow ROM compared to Mach?
