  1. Pretty sure in the post-lockout era NHL ('06 on) goalies have always been that later twenties to early thirties for hitting their stride. Some of the biggest names in the league are all within that parameter: Georgiev - 27 Saros - 28 Demko - 28 Sorokin - 28 Shesterkin - 28 Vasilevksy -29 Though, going over that list I linked, it does look like there's a pretty even spread for age brackets for starters in the NHL. However, Oettinger, Skinner, and Swayman are the only guys 25 and younger that have made an impact over a few seasons. There's some other good goalies getting starts in that age bracket, but the above three have been around the league for a while now that you forget they're not essentially kids.
  2. MAF - 39 Quick - 38 Talbot - 36 Bobrovsky - 35 Reimer - 35 Varlamov - 34 Andersen (6GP) - 34 Jones - 34 Markstrom - 34 Raanta - 34 Allen - 34 Kuemper - 33 DeSmith - 32 Gurbauer - 32 Forsberg - 31 Lyon - 31 Mrazek - 31 Pickard - 31 Rittich - 31 Wedgewood - 31 Binnington - 30 Brossoit - 30 Gibson - 30 Hellebyuck - 30 Lindgren - 30 Stolarz - 30 Ullmark - 30 I left Hutchinson (33) Campbell (32), Copely (32) Hellberg (32), and Domingue (31) off the list because they've barely played any games. All the guys aboce have at least 10 starts minus Anderson. But he's been out due to injury, not play. https://www.hockey-reference.com/leagues/NHL_2024_goalies.html
  3. Funny enough, they have more playoff success in the past 20 years than Toronto. God, what a failure of a franchise.
  4. Yea, dude got punched in the mouth for being an asshole. It's a pretty classic case of FAFO.

  6. Dude got a concussion lol. Oopsie Daisies.
  7. Probably had you mixed up with her other husband. On a separate unrelated note, my birthday is in October....
  8. @Mroy31 hasn't been active in almost two years now. Can't say I ever noticed them on my 2S (medium) or Mach (small). I'm assuming guys may be removing them to help with the integration between C/A and Jock/Pants when tucking. I don't tuck, so that may be an explanation as to why I don't have issues with them. Here's a reminder as to where the belly portion of these C/A's fell on me. Can't remember your situation unfortunately.
  9. Nope. I prefer the elastic chin cup over the static one. My VTX had a nylon one and it was fine, but the change to elastic allowed me to wear it tighter without affecting my comfort or ability to speak. I actually found myself fiddling with my VTX a lot more than my 960.
  10. At least you were still using a Single-T. My Mach was Double-T with Skatelace and that lack of snap sensation always drove me nuts. Single and Nylon is the way.
  11. To add to my confusion. Vasy still using Mach glove and blocker.
  12. I think the best we have right now is the practice video of Lundqvist. I still find it odd that we haven't seen much of this line leading up to release. Especially zero adoption in any Pro league.
  13. That's a pretty common occurrence for anyone when they go up in thighrise stiffness. I know I experienced it going from V4's->RGTs, RGT2's->Ultrasonics, and Ultrasonics->Mach. Your skating, movements, and overall comfortability will all adapt as you get used to the new specs and they'll become second nature eventually.
  14. True has a very interesting 'contest' going on.. The prize is a True gift card for the same amount as a full set.
  15. this one? This was a 2-3 month review.
