  1. I'm in a set of PX3's that are about a year old now with over 150 skates in them and no real signs of wear and the sliding on them is great with no film
  2. So I have been using th 590 now since Jan on the regular and i can say that the feel of the glove the pocket position feels more similar to what I had in my Gnetik. When it comes to catching the puck I feel as though I'm having similar issues to when I used a 590 last which my revoke set from a long time ago. I found that the 600 break somehow found the puck in the pocket a bit more where as the 590 I have more that tend to bounce and not funnel into the pocket. I haven't used my 600 since December which is about 12 skates so I'm going to wait until my season is done in March and continue to use the 590 and if I'm still not fully adjusted and the 600 hasn't sold I am going to do some switching during pick up to see if I can spot what is really happening. Overall feel wise though I prefer the 590. Also the wrist strap in both gloves is basically redundant for me as i have it as loose as possible lol. I just tighten the glove down over my knuckles
  3. I also had a set of these pads, to this day still one of my favourite pads I have owned and used!
  4. When comparing True and Warrior stick lengths same rule of thumb applies. A 26" true would compare to 27.5 warrior roughly correct?
  5. Nice pick, I'm almost a year in with mine now and love them.
  6. Agreed on this, I think I have seen one person rocking a Mach pad everything else Bauer seems to be the vapor line. I am curious to try the glove out though!
  7. Just never felt right! Will have to see what this new Bauer glove has to offer come the spring as I'm not completely sold on the 590 either.
  8. Lefevre made catch glove Game ready extra palm 600 beak - custom order received in April, has about 30 skates in it looking from $500 CAD, ships from Kitchener, Ontario at buyers expense
  9. If all goes well actually I will have two skates back to back on Thursday so will use the 600 first and then the 590 on the second. However from wearing it around the house I'm fairly certain the 590 is what i am after
  10. I had a chance to try on the glove this week and it doesn't feel anything like my original Gnetik but does feel similar to the models previous
  11. Yes I've come to realize this as well
  12. So I got my set back in the spring and I ordered it with a 600 break glove. Build quality is great on the 600 and closure is good but I just could not adjust to the glove break or pocket positioning from my old Brian's Gnetik glove. One game would be perfect and then the next I would be brutal with it. So decided to place an order for a 590 and 4 weeks later she showed up today! Looking forward to getting on the ice next week.
  13. Can't say I do much myself either other then wearing XL pants when i most certainly fit into a L
  14. That makes complete sense for the twist and wedge, I was thinking twist and mid LMFAO
  15. Looking at the curves, I know the blade pattern difference compared to CCM and over brands but is there much of a difference between the wedge and the twist. Looking at them they don't seem to be drastically different from inter-web pictures lol. I'm currently a CCM Crawford user which if I am correct is closer to the twist.
  16. Are the True sticks really that fragile and bad? I'm in the market for new twigs and was looking between Warrior V2 and True 9x but am leaning Warrior based on what I've been reading and heard.
  17. Fair enough so to stick with a stick that has a more traditional feel go with the V series. Sizing wise if I am in a 26" CCM now I would have to jump up to the 27.5 in warrior to match is that correct?
  18. I'm having a hard time distinguishing between the differences on the V and M lines. I've been long time CCM stick user but need to upgrade and I used a buddies Warrior at shinny for a few weeks and it felt nice. I've heard they are great sticks but for the life of me I can not understand the differences in lines. Any help would be amazing. On a side not I don't care for the newer CCM sticks, I was using the old Premier line and had purchased 4 of them when they were on sale a while back and finally have gone through them.
  19. I would also second this. As I recently have gone from a Gnetik to a True 600 and I can say that the placement of the pocket and how it closes is closer to a 590 then 600 on the Brian's Gnetik which is now Iconik
  20. Ok sounds good, feel free to send me a direct pm and we can figure things out.
