Per the video: Cam mentions at 5:26 the new default is jenpro instead of speedskin - not sure if that applies to all stock retail sets? I think @ThatCarGuymight have pointed this out a couple months ago? They also mention that CCM claims weave is worse on fresh ice. They also mention that the change in materials and design -> increased sliding -> 24% improvement in sliding on clean ice and 37% improvement on rough ice. How much of that is due to materials (reversion of speedskin to jenpro ) and how much to design? Jumping on the #2 bandwagon!! I submitted the following set this morning - minor tweaks to previous set I had posted.

Ordered 2/28, received 4/10, so 6 weeks on the dot. Wait time is probably longer now because custom orders opened up for retail.

The stock Axis 2 is LiteXCore and MaxRebound+. The stock Axis XF is LiteXCore and Infinite Power Rebound. It's hard to say how MaxRebound+ and IPR will feel - there's nothing concrete yet. The only thing is the custom goal catalog which shows "X-STIFF" for MaxRebound+. Per the '24 custom goal catalog:

What's interesting is that the 2023 custom goal catalog does not mention the "+" for either AX2 or EF6. But the regular retail catalog for 2023 lists the Core Construction of the AX2 as "LITEXCORE AND MAX REBOUND+ TECHNOLOGY".

Infinite Power Rebound is new this year. Don't know much about it. MaxRebound+ should be the same foam they used in Axis 1/2.

The velcro attachment point for the TuneFit+ does seem to come down just a little bit further. Glad they did this because I thought the Mach version was a little too small/high up for me. I skipped out on the calf bracket this time. Otherwise, pretty close to stock.3 Edited original post with full set with specs.

Having the same issue in Firefox - not sure if it's Firefox, or one of my extensions that is doing it. Chrome seems to work just fine though.

Turbotax should be just fine if you've filing Single, have only one job, are taking the standard deduction. Super basic stuff. An accountant can help if there's more moving parts. Investment income, side business, rental property, itemized deductions, thinking of contributing to a traditional IRA, etc. But they can be pricey. Turbotax should serve 90% of the populace pretty decently - I say this as a CPA with his own tax practice.

Nice looking gear. I had a similar issue with Kelly Green jenpro and nylon on my Warrior pads ages ago. Another user posted about this buddy with the exact same Kelly Green issue on his buddy's Vaughns. Hope to hear your on-ice impressions soon.

I've got a widget on my phone that counts down the days until an approximate delivery date for my SLR4s. I was also quoted 6-8 weeks for the set, so I set the countdown to 7 weeks. If it is leaning closer to 8 weeks, I'll have to add another 7 days to it. Going from 21 days remaining to 28, ugh!

Weird, I'm in the customizer now for PX4 and PX3 and it is still showing the COMPLETE YOUR ORDER button. Clicking it still takes me to a page to enter my credit card information.

I believe that is exactly what is going on. Probably did it as a way to get people to try out the SAM profile. Bauer began rolling out the ProSharp machines and profiling templates around the same time/soon after.

Have not seen it in person yet. I do not believe it changes the palm material - just the sidewall, but I can ask.
