  1. You're right that it seems a little flatter, but it still seems a little different. I defer to you since you've seen it. Top to bottom: 1. HL2 calf picture from the catalog. It seems like the crease in the calf doesn't run completely top to bottom so it does seem like the calf-plate has a little bit of the retail Mach shape. 2. Retail mach calf. 3. (Custom) Ultrasonic calf and custom Mach calf.
  2. I suspect (for off the shelf retail) it will be very similar to Mach, but less stiff because of less calf brackets. Haven't seen anything yet, but that's my guess. Going custom should get you the IIHF/NHL legal calf plate - should be very similar to what we've seen on custom Mach pads.
  3. where are all the sets at post 'em i know you got 'em lets go already

  5. Eagle eye! Nice catch. Never change.
  6. 9X3 is overseas pro product. So similar pricing to current pro level product. PX3 is custom-only domestic made pro product at a slightly higher price point. 7X3 should be comparable to M5 Pro and CCM EF6.9 price points.
  7. IIRC, Vapors used to fit wider than Supremes until the Ultrasonic/3S Pro/3S lineup came out. Meanwhile CCM had Tacks and Jetspeed goalie skates. Jetspeed had less volume than the Tacks, so Jetspeed should be closer to a 2S and older Supreme fit. There's something new coming from CCM this year if you want to wait.
  8. And this is the their new customizer, too. Launched with Axis 2 and people had loads of issues with that. At least the old style of customizer loaded for me. It seems hit or miss on Firefox and Chrome with me. Funny, the link on the CCMHockey.com main page advertising the EF6 customizer takes me to the EF5 customizer. Are you using Firefox? @ThatCarGuy suggested using Chrome and it looked night and day better. For people who can't find it, try https://customizers.ccmhockeyapps.com/order/client-choose/EF6 for Total Custom and https://customizers.ccmhockeyapps.com/order/client-choose/EF6TCP for Total Custom Pro. EDIT: Monkey and Pure customizers are up. https://goalie.purehockey.com/c/custom-goalie-equipment?mfg_web_name=CCM https://www.goaliemonkey.com/ccm-extreme-flex-goalie-equipment
  9. Some teasers I've been sitting on since Jan/Feb. Clever people can access it now. If you've paid attention to some of my prior posts about customizers leaking early, you can figure it out too...

  12. If that's the case re: GT2 rebounds vs G5, then Hyperlite rebounds are absolutely bigger than G5. I've had both GT2 and Hyperlite.
  13. The Nash Sports goalie helmet hardware kit seems to have almost everything you're looking for - https://www.thehockeyshop.com/en-us/products/nash-goal-mask-hardware-kit
  14. I don't think the forums/most computers can read/load HEIC files by default. I've converted them to JPG for you. Does Michel sign his masks now?! I asked him to do it for my first Protech back in 2010, but he didn't do it/forgot to do it.
  15. Same seller has the new Warrior F2 Pro mask for sale, too.
  16. Having used HL and US and Mach, I prefer the feel of -Slide over -Flex. I want the Supreme bridge because I can easily swap between centered and offset if I want. Mach flex was too stiff for me. I like my Ultrasonics way more so I'm going with US stiffness. I'd go to a store and check out the gear if you can. If I recall correctly, M5 Pro is a big closer to US than it is to Mach. You'll notice an increase in stiffness if you go to Pro from Game Ready. Reinforcing the tee will make it feel a little stiffer too and add some weight. Went with US nash because it felt softer/more comfortable than the CatchGrip that comes with the Mach. It probably adds more to weight, though. The CatchGrip used in Mach had little rubberized grooves for your finger to help you grip, lots of people liked that but I'm willing to give it up for the soft nash feel.
  17. On the leg pads, it's a mish-mash of Vapor and Supreme. Ultrasonic flex, Stabilislide knee, Supreme toe bridge. Vapor 90 catcher, single tee, Ultrasonic nash. Stock HL2 blocker.
  18. Submitted my order today.
  19. Goalie Monkey is having a Spring Cleaning sale. No coupon code needed. Prices good until 3/28/2023. Not a lot of gear here. Mostly Warrior sticks and Warrior leg pads + apparel and jerseys. No catchers, blockers or skates from any brand. Stick prices seem to be kinda meh - Warrior V1 Pro+ was down to approx. $176/stick during their 2022 4th of July sale and Black Friday sale. Currently $199. The big draw here seems to be the handful of Adidas AdiZero Authentic jerseys, which are running 50% off. None of them appear to be goalie cut, however.
  20. Final Addenum - Year 20XX - The Mach(ines) are taking over.
  21. Small world. Thanks for bringing your glove in, my co-workers and I were psyched to try it on. I keep that CCM 580 for customers to try on if they're going custom CCM/True since we don't carry any 580s on the racks. I've converted a couple people already away from 590/600 already. It's probably even more valuable of a sales tool now that Bauer is offering it. After your visit, I spoke to someone with Bauer about 580s. I was sworn to secrecy (but since they are releasing the Vapor 90), I think I can say that Bauer had been talking about bringing the 580 to retail for a while. From my discussions, it sounded like it wasn't going to be coming out for 2023, but maybe the representative I was speaking to didn't want to tell me, or the decision hadn't been made yet. This was back in December 2022. I was just as surprised as anyone when I saw Vapor 90 was a custom option.

  23. Did you call Bauer directly? Or a store? My store's inventory system has the cost of a Digiprint complete set at $3,419, a Pro Custom set at $3,089 and a regular Custom set at $2,964. All prices USD. AFAIK, price on Digiprint does not differ by design; it's flat fee. But I'm never done a Digiprint set for a customer so I could be wrong.
