same over here, except at this Arena. We are on the base itself, and the Arena is run by the DND, they spot check into the dressing rooms, and if you aren't abiding by their rules, you lose the ice time for the year, NO refund!!!
Back on the ice last night at the arena on the Naval Base here in Victoria, BC. All arenas (and any indoor venue for that matter) will require a proof of vaccination, which I have downloaded onto my phone. Masks also required inside, including in dressing rooms. Felt great to be back playing, on the ice again Friday morning!
The last 2 photos were taken in the early spring. Summer time I tend to hand water the lawn with a hose, as that is allowed under Summer Water Restrictions. It really allows me to target the areas that need it, and also limits the amount of wasted runoff water. Plus a nice way to unwind and have a couple beers, usually chatting with the neighbours while doing it. In Victoria BC for regional reference.
The line "even vaccinated people catch Covid, so what's the point of vaccination" drives me nuts.
I will use that same logic in another way
I can still feel a shot that hits me in the nuts, so what's the point in wearing a jock?
FFS, getting warm here in Victoria BC. in the next few days we are going to reach a high of 37 celcius. (100 F) Normal temp for this time of year is 22 celcius (70 F).
Victoria BC
Played Saturday evening. Same rink rules as before the November shut-down. Arrive 20 minutes before and no showers after it. I was pleasantly not completely gassed, and not sore the next day.
