  1. There is a wheeled version as well. You can choose between With Wheels or Carry in the style option. No pictures of the wheels variation though sadly. But yeah, pricey for sure.
  2. regarding the thigh guards MOD, I did something similar on my old C/A. I used some old thigh wraps from an old pair of Vaughns. I don't use this mod currently since I have since updated my C/A, but I still have them in case I need to mod my current CCM AB PRO arms in the future. I have also worn them underneath the arms for the same effect without compromising the visual look of the C/A on the front side. As far as my current C/A goes, I have old RBK P1 shoulder floaters and heat guard underneath the unit to beef it up more.
  3. Looks like some D30 in the knee cap area. That's pretty cool.
  4. Bumping up this thread about bags. Not sure if we started a newer, updated thread or not so I will post it here. Does anyone have experience with Conway + Banks bags? Looks pretty solid to me, but pricey for sure. Here's the link: https://conwayandbanks.com/products/conway-banks-goalie-bag-10ds Was thinking of updating my bag. The Warrior Ritual wheeled bag I currently use has been fine for a few years now, but if starting to show it's age, plus I've realized how giant and cumbersome this Warrior bag is at 44" x 24" x 24". These Conway goalie bags are 42" x 20" x 20" and should be a more suitable size. Thanks for any feedback if you can provide it.
  5. Very cool! Yeah the backhand/ sides of the gloves are pretty detailed.
  6. I stick with what I like and run it into the ground. only update when necassary or if protection becomes an issue. As much as I would love to have a endless money pit to sink into gear and rotate multiple sets, if I'm honest with myself I would likely prefer going with one set of gear for the conistant feel alone. To each their own though. That's what makes this sport/position so interesting. Many different goalies out there who all like different things..
  7. I'm convinced he is Jonas Hiller at this point.
  8. my league does a similar draft style and it works out really well. Very competitive and there's even a waitlist to get in. Hope things balance out here.
  9. Great write up. Coming from a RBK P1/P2 myself, I felt the CCM AB Pro was a coming home moment for me as well with my C/A unit. I have the original model, but this is always nice to hear if/when i ever upgrade to a new NHL legal specd unit. Awesome! The thing definitely looks like a tank.
  10. Great comeback for the win. Must have felt amazing!
  11. Sorry to hear about that injury, Lucky Puck. Hope you heal up soon!
  12. The above posts seem solid in order to give this glove a proper cleaning. As far as game-to-game management, I always dry out my gloves with a boot dryer after every skate, along with spraying it with Captodor spray, along with the rest of my gear. It does the trick, and no funky smell (my fiance even agrees!) and I've been doing this for years.
  13. I'm a simple goalie.. Loved the RBK P2 design. Especially Raycroft's as a Leafs fan. Also a fan of the CCM Premier 1 line, which is my current setup.
  14. Wore these when I was younger. Those ridges on the side defintely saved a few goals over the years...
