I doubt anyone has them yet, but I could be wrong. Look for G6 reviews it'll probably be comparable. Gotta get their hypercomp in the thigh for maximum pop and I think that's the pro model only? They could've changed it to regular senior as well. I don't think it's compared to the ultrasonic but someone more knowledgeable should chime in.

I would just try to take a few weeks to months but don't say you're done done. You might get the spark back and you should give it a bit to make sure you want to be done.

I would check sideline swap occasionally for a good condition set of what you're looking for. There's a lot pf old Vaughn sets on there. You could possibly find some new old stock pads.

G7 will fit the same as G6 and only G6
Would goalie monkey possibly not have the correct size chart listed for G6 and G7? They have the same sizing chart as the GT2. 32" pad for a 5'6" height. Same as my G2 I currently wear. Is it in the new brochure? Sorry if I missed where the info was from.

I got my ccm ab500 today. Turns out it's an intermediate large and not a senior large as I had hoped. I did tell the seller I was looking for a senior and it was listed as unknown. Debating whether to debate it on sideline or just keep and take the loss. Either donate to a kid that's got a crappy chest protector and likes to play or pull it apart for the floaters and beef up the pro body I hopefully will eventually find? My armless senior small ABPro on the right vs the intermediate AB500 on the left. If I lost 40 lbs. I bet the small senior would be perfect lol.

From the few reviews available and the cheap clearance price on goaliemonkey, I'm gonna assume that it's a pos and not worth the money or anything closr in quality to the Maltese. I'd rather invest in having my combos refurbished. It didn't seem to make sense to me either and he seemed to keep details short and vague. I may try to email again and see if anyone answers.

What was the story behind Maltese ending? Moved on to other things? Arrested? Died? What happened?
I emailed him after hearing about him closing. Here was the response i got. I don't have any further details than this. I thought I may have remembered reading that the partner was possibly whomever runs the operation for Eco or Roughneck but don't quote me on that.

I thought my Simmons 998 glove was more than a decade old but after doing some searching the GSBB Simmons forum on way back, it appears to have come out in 2014. So about 10 years now. Just starting to semi retire it. My 995 c/a is apparently from around 2008. Trying to slowly replace that currently.

Quite gimmicky that the carbon fiber is only in the shape of the window and that they did not secure them good enough to trick us into thinking the carbon was throughout the whole floater lol.

@ArdeFIN I saw you did some surgery with a com unit. Looking forward to rereading that thread for the work on the arms you did. The short arms on mine are nice but I have a gap near the forearms I'm looking to possibly add a piece of knee guard or something to fill the gap.

You'd see the difference in terms of thickness and quality, but sizing remains the same. If you're a medium then a large might bother you in your ready stance.
I am hoping that the large senior version 500 would be slightly smaller than a large pro. Between these photos of the small pro and large 500, it looks like there's an additional row of belly blocks and I think that'd be perfect for me because the small feels too open on the bottom for me. I don't tuck but internally attach but the small pro is just a tad small on me. More so probably because I'm fat but I'm also 5'6" and it would probably fit well enough if I weighed 160 lbs instead of 210.
I figure I will put the small pro arms on the 500 body and if needed could even swap the floaters and heart guard if I wanted to get nuts. Just bought it so we'll see how it goes. May end up having to resell but if I can put these two together for $150 with shipping total from sideline that would be a win.

The main reason I asked is because I have a small AB Pro and the arms are great, but the body feels too small, so I've been hunting for a medium to mix with. There's a few large AB 500s dirt cheap on sideline and I was wondering if there was a chance they'd fit me and if the protection would be noticeably different from the pro. Appreciate all the answers and clarification.

My decade plus old Simmons 998 glove was not cutting it for B league which has a lot of A league players playing down and some of the shots were leaving my hand sore for the next week. My glove was custom ordered with tightened internals for my tiny hands and I found this glove I ordered to be too tight when wearing with my new inner padded glove. I got a 997 glove on sideline swap for cheap to keep as a backup a while back, but it has the regular senior sized hand internals, so I didn't like it that much as it was a bit loose. But, with the inner padded glove, now it fits perfect and it's my main game glove. The 998 is now only for Geezers and C league. So, of you have some room in your glove to work with, then i suggest this:
I've been using it a few weeks and have felt much more confident again snagging pucks.

Can anyone chime in if they have knowlege of the differences between these units? I see them on sideline swap all the time but can't tell the difference.

Warrior's intermediate stick is 23.5" but their measuring process isn't standard compared to the rest of the industry's.

For carrying, I always say, "exercise on the way in, and punishment on the way out for all the goals I let up".

I don't think I've ever seen one other than in black and yellow. That's a unicorn pro and not a senior version, yes?

Sorry for your loss and hope you find a new source of income quickly.

I've been having trouble with my toe bungees being too lose, coming off even, not fully recentering my pads after butterfly saves. My bungees are the Simmons ones, good quality, undamaged. I wear a size 7 skate, so maybe they're too big for my skates? Anyway, in researching I stumbled across these
https://tendymods.com/products/tendy-tiesth
and found a positive review
wanderingjustin.com/tendy-ties/
Anyone here have any experience with these? They look like they use two bungees, so it might be a stronger attachment, more like laces but still with some give.
They also make a Ski boot style strapping mod so any skates can ditch the laces.
I looked up the Simmons toe the and the bungee is held in with a knot and easily replaceable. If that is the case, then you should either shorten the elastic a bit or feed the ties an extra time through the skate somewhere to tighten it up. Would try that first as that's the most cost effective option.
For the tendy mod, those would be potentially really easy to make by stopping at home depot and getting a box of bungees. He even uses the ball, I've been throwing those out for years lol. Some skate lace for protection and you could have Frankenstein ProlaceTendyMods. The concept is interesting enough and simple enough to give it a shot. It appears to be just one long bungee cord ran through protection, loops around and back through and then the knot inside the ball has the start and ending of the cord. Doesn't look like two cords to me.
Agree with coop. Prolaces are great. I'm on my 2nd set of TGN spec and they're awesome for me. This time around I added small skate lace spacers for that lace-post integration that's become a talking point lately while still having bungee effect. It's been working better with than without them.
Hope you find a solution.

Holy catch glove! How huge is that thing??
Haha it's a regular senior sized Simmons 998 glove. I'm just small at 5'6". I'm not sure if it's new NHL spec though. There's a goalie that uses an old spec glove in our league and it looks like a trash can lid on his hand and he's much taller than me.

Getting Beat - Stick Side Armpit
in ICE

I'm 5'6" and use Warrior 23.5" and if I get beat it's rarely through that hole. Usually high blocker is where I might get beat. Or ya gotta make the occasional knob save. Definitely give a shorter stick a try.
