  1. This is a good instructional. I have taken apart and rebuilt pads, but never a catcher so good information for me.
  2. If you can, open a case with the site before it releases funds.
  3. This can be done yourself if you have the cage and foam on hand. If not contact Ray at New Image and he can take care of you.
  4. Its Halfoween. So I busted out an isolation movie marathon, some pumpking and weyerbacher imperial pumpkin. Movies, with themes of isolation : Beetlejuice The Thing The Shining
  5. The wait times are long and only getting longer. My wait was around 9 months total. As far as was it worth the wait, I will say yes as I have had a hard time finding a mask that fits me properly. I put my Protechsport on, and it had no wobble and felt glued to my head. In terms of protection, I took a slapshot to the head from a former college player first time out from the top of the circle no ringing whatsoever.
  6. It is one of those quality, time, cost scenarios. Pick two. In this case you are picking quality and cost. Michel is a single man operation, who has built masks for many NHL'ers and offers a custom padding to your head. He uses high quality materials and keeps his costs low by being a one man shop. He is also working a full time job, so this is his side hustle. Price wise, his top of the mask is 4 layers of kevlar + 3 additional kevlar layers in the forehead and chin + 1 fiberglass for 695CAD This competes with a Bauer 950XPM in price but is made with much better materials and has a custom fit. Other custom manufacturers are priced around $800-$1100 USD.
  7. Protechsport full kevlar is around 2.2lbs.
  8. I like the stock black foam so far. Its pretty comfy and protective.
  9. Cant speak to an Agatone directly, but Ive been loyal to Vortek gloves my entire career. Warrior gloves with a 90 degree break are my goto now.
