  1. Its a saluspa, but its the same as a coleman.
  2. It is! It was a decent purchase, though we had to replace the pump unit after a year or two, we had it stored outside in a deck box and it didnt like that, so it lives in the garage now. It gets up to 104 and you can either heat or bubbles. Bubbles will drop heat fast. Usually takes about 12-24 hours to heat up fully. We use bleach and a testing kit to make sure its good.
  3. I got two masks done by him, he does geat work. When he hets busy, he gets slammed. According to facebook he was on the road a couple of weeks ago doing wraps in Toronto
  4. Click the username then click the envelope icon
  5. im currently 0/8 on offers, its going great...
  6. That is a beaut, if I wasnt trying to buy a house, id be all over it.
  7. Slapshot came in on a vertical angle and hit right on the join of ribs and belly pad on my Brown
  8. Thats terrible news, I always looked forward to his posts and sense of humor. RIP Demonbunny
  9. Ive had crazy thoughts of replacing a knee wing with a plate of UHMW PE. When i was refurbishing pads, I used that as the knee wing material wrapped in jenpro and it always made sliding so much better, but imagine if it was making direct contact with the ice.... Maybe a stablilock system and anchor the wing into the core of the pad.
  10. How well has the vivid stuff been holding up?
  11. You could try the shark 954 cage or Eddy Pro. When Ray at new image finished my Cubberly that is what he used since they are more readily available.
  12. im curious about this, any try the vivid stuff or just the 3m?
  13. I have always gone untucked. Pants cinched tight then tie the belly loop of the C/A with the pants tie. Suspenders against inner edge of shoulder floaters
  14. And now he is running some firm mostly staffed by college interns.
  15. I switched over to Warrior from vortek. I wouldnt say that it is close, but it is acceptable. Glenn Miller still has the dies to make a Vortek glove. You can reach him on facebook.
  16. He wont be unfortunately, but his treatment of Akim Aliu was abhorrent.
  17. Welcome back! Glad you are able to get back on the ice again
  18. How it go with painting? I covered up a few wear spots on a blocker with Angelus and the results were good, took a puck directly to it and no issues. Color match isnt exact but close enough.
  19. Careful with those, I was refurbing a pair of eagles and I slipped and the needle ended up in my arm pretty deep.
  20. Depends on the piece, I sorta went through a lot of gear recently having upgraded from 2007ish gear to modern, which meant trying some new stuff out. Now I am pretty happy with all my pieces so probably will only purchase the odd mask here and there that I say I will refurb, but really itll just sit there. I am still rocking a Maltese GPS from 2005 and a Simmons Air Cup from 2007.
  21. Brown will be completely custom tailored to you. It is heavier off the rack but is usually well balanced so feels pretty comfortable. Protection is top notch and it will last for years. Another option is Passau, their propack is nice and mobile while being very protective.
  22. The catcher has an elastic inner glove that covers the fingers but extends further up the back of the hand. Its great if you like a tighter glove, but it drove me crazy so I was constantly stretching it out, the stitching gave a little and it is much better for me now. ill take photos if that helps?
  23. The glove is pretty good after going from Warrior, I still prefer warriors glove over it but pretty easy transition. The inner glove part on mine starting coming loose and that was the best thing to happen to me. The knee stack is EVA foam it looks like, but super easy to swap out. Im not a fan of landing on the velcro strap tho.
