  1. It feels like it. I can't say for sure but I did also get to use a 2Xpro today. Demoed the pads as well. I am impressed, but will probably stick to my Opt1ks still.
  2. So far have loved it. It feels very light, and it's extremely responsive when playing the puck. Also Koskinen's curve isn't too bad. Feels good for saves and passing
  3. New sticks. Not sure if I should use the Talbot one as I didn't know it was signed when I bought it. Going to be testing the Koskinen V1pro+ tonight.
  4. It makes it much harder. I've had two injuries that happened after I ordered new gear. Once in high school with a surgery on my back for a pilonidal sisst, took a year to recover. Then last year my miniscus tore, tried playing 3 weeks later but it had tear again. Then through a series of trying to let it heal for 9 months and trying to play again, having it re agrevate after two months, and now waiting for surgery, I have not had the chance to play a lot lately.
  5. Now that I have the full order I thought I might post the full family photo. Hopefully pics of me wearing it will actually happen soon, but it's uncertain because of a miniscus tear. Also included the design pictures.
  6. Aesthetic, and I can agree that this mod is too keep it from twisting. I am contemplating getting some more foam to cover the knee landing area around the Poron.
  7. Basically they suck unless you use either A: a garter to hold them in the perfect spot or B: use helmet foam to put a layer on the surface that your knee leans against when going down(shown in this picture). Once you do either of those things it's a great pair of knee guards, just make sure they sit correctly otherwise the inside peice of the Curv composite will dig into your leg. For the chesty I had a ton of people saying why bother, but I needed it customed anyway to get L body with XL arms, and colours cost no extra. There's is also a suprise on the pads when they come in. I haven't told too many people about it.
  8. Actually that is for player skates. Goalie skates will have a different fit from each other once the 2X comes out. 1S and 1X should fit the same it's just the tech on it that makes it feel slightly different.
  9. Over the past two months I have purchased some 1S od1n knee guards which I added some helmet foam to, LS3G+ steel for my 1S skates, pair of pro laces for my favorite part, my custom graphic OPT1Ks coming mid August and my OPT1K chest protector coming the same time
  10. Was that primo or weave you got on the sliding surface? Just asking cause mine are gonna have white primo and hoping cleaning isn't terrible.
  11. Might as well show my old setup before the new one comes in. GNETIK pro 2 customed to be as flexible as possible, double T with a pro palm, nothing special on the blocker.
  12. Got to try this out cause I'm waiting for my OPT1K to come in. Very impressed with it. Love the ability to seal the puck against the ribs, mobility was great for a first use, and the adjustments are awesome. Only flaw I found was how hard rebounds would shoot off it. Took a Slapshot square in the chest and it looked like the puck came off a 2S pro blocker.
