  1. What’s the outer material on the face of the pad? The usual Jenpro synthetic leather or Cortech? The hockey shop description from their website leads me to believe it’s Cortech on the entire pad and not just knee landing and calf plate. I would doubt Cortech would cover the face of the pad but I thought I’d ask. “External MaterialC.O.R.Tech Plus skin returns better than ever in the M5Pro pads. The material, also known as Coefficient of Restitution, is designed to quickly return to its original shape right after deflecting the puck. This property is ideal for reacting on rebounds after the initial save. With C.O.R.Tech, the pads are able to give off a longer rebound. C.O.R.Tech also offers a much better sliding surface compared to classic Jenpro leather.” https://www.thehockeyshop.com/products/bauer-supreme-m5-pro-senior-goalie-leg-pads
  2. I just want to say that I’ve been using this neck guard since last season and I love it. Luckily for me I haven’t had to cut or customize the neck height on mine but it feels great and I forget I’m even wearing it most times. Have taken shots high and near the neck/collarbone area and again forget I’m wearing it so I think it’s serving it’s purpose.

  4. I found this as well from a Bauer catalogue.
  5. @ser33 Assuming this is your pad, what are you using as a professor strap in this pic? Is it one that you made? I’m very curious.
  6. Ok. Now that makes sense. I only got one set of padding when I bought the retail one.
  7. Sorry. I’m not sure what you mean. . There’s padding and the fabric you slide the padding into. That’s all you get with this neck guard. It’s awesome though. I love it!
  8. It comes with padding glued together so the thick and thin are one piece.
  9. I have one of these and the neck foam is removable like the rest of the foam pieces. I do find a little hard to put back in after washing the fabric but it goes back in. It’s been a fantastic neck guard for me so far this season.
  10. Big shout out to @thebigm for helping me finally get my hands on this aegis neck guard. Here’s the link for everyone to grab one (in Canada) before they’re gone!! https://skatersedgesudbury.com/product/aegis-interceptor-pro-g-goalie-neck-guard/?main_category_id=1434&cat_slug=shop-goalie
  11. I just called the Pro Hockey Life store closest to me and spoke with a representative there who was aware of the neck guard coming soon but said they still didn’t have it in stock. I asked about the CDN price but he wasn’t aware of that either. I guess I’ll keep checking the website hoping we can get them soon enough.
  12. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. I’m hoping soon though.
  13. No, that’s not the new pro model we’re referring to in this post. It’s the interceptor-G. Not the PRO - G. Im impatiently waiting until I can get one. Soon hopefully .
  14. @TheGoalNet Any chance you could play us a clip of installation of the TuneFit Connect strap on the pads and also connecting it when you’re wearing it?
  15. So @Punisher Goalie what was the verdict on this? I just bought a brand new 1X glove so I’m interested. Haha. Way to bring back an old thread, right?
  16. @thebigm How long have you been using it and how is it holding up? I'm very interested in this product as well.
  17. I added one as well to my 1X pads for that same reason. I'd love this option because I'm not 100% comfortable attaching my professor strap to the cord that runs through the pad. My strap is nylon and I'm worried it's pulling too hard on the cord. All that to say, if these were included, that's a great option to have much like Brian's did with the Optik 2s.
  18. Are those tabs for a professor strap (or rotation strap) I've circled in blue? Sorry for the yellow color, I tried to highlight it and it didn't work so well with the red backdrop of the pads.
  19. Same here!!! It’s pretty disheartening to know such weak materials are used for a product that cost so much money. However...I love the performance I get from my 1X pads.
  20. Awesome, thanks for posting this. I have a G4 Senior and tuck my chesty. In reference to your 2 loops in the stomach area, I use those to attach the G4 chesty to my RBK 11K pants. The pants have internal ABfit clips and when I attach my chesty to my pants, the connected feeling helps keep everything together which is how I like it. Nothing feels loose or floppy. The stomach loops are a little small for my ABfit clips to fit through so I've gone as far as to tie a skate lace loop to the stomach loops and now I run my Abfit clips through the skate loop to tie them all together. I can't wait to hear about how it feels after a few skates.

    @motowngoalie Where is it??? haha
  22. When I ordered mine from Michel, I asked for the extended chin and his suggestion was 8.5” as well. He said anything longer interferes with the C/A from his experience. When it came to packing my mold, I stuffed my box with crumpled newspaper. I was concerned as mine was a little flimsy but Michel said it made the trip just fine. Hope this helps.
  23. Hey, my protechsport mask came in yesterday and I can’t say enough about how great it feels. I didn’t adjust anything and it fit perfectly the moment I put it on. It just feels like a solid mask when you hold it or wear it. I contacted Michel to let him know I got it and his first response was, “How is the fit?” Goes to show how much he cares about his masks and our satisfaction. Not only that, he thanks you for placing the order and your patience for waiting so long for it to come. Just all around great to deal with and to be honest, I didn't mind the wait seeing as I was getting an awesome mask. So here are the details: Full fiberglass Thibeault mold Hidden backplate straps (sorry for the bad quality pic) Extended chin Chin sling (So comfortable!!) Also, a side profile pic for the fellow who wanted to see how the extended chin looked.
