I’m glad I didn’t wait to order through them. They told me they’d have those new glove breaks ready nearly a year ago.
-
Normally pros/college athletes order those at the same time so I’d be surprised if he was using a glove that beat up for this long.
-
Yup here’s a better look Both pictures show one of my favorite subtle tweaks to axis 2 that I’ve wanted ccm to do across both of their lines for awhile. Pretty sure he’s not using the matching glove because he prefers a 600 to the stock axis 2 break EDIT: talked with ccm and it appears he never ordered the stock axis 2 break so not sure why he’s still using his old 600 unless he ordered a different break
-
Very manly of him to lose his edge with minimal back pressure in a half ice scrimmage
-
Today’s practice was ended by probably one of the worst injuries I’ve ever seen in person. My teammate goes into the boards heels first and did not get back up. When he rolled over on the ice his shin was at a 90 degree angle.

Seeing as there's no Axis 2 thread yet I'll say this here, if you watch Trav's video we have significantly more "Solid" (jenpro) color options than we had available on Axis or EF5. Meaning if you want colors other than red, blue, navy, white, black, or silver you are no longer stuck with speedskin.
-
*speculation based loosely on evidence which is pretty much the same thing
-
Hence why it’s not released to us retail peasants yet They’re still in the testing phase of printing and trying to find the right finish. I believe they’re also trying to make both speedskin and jenpro work which is part of the reason for different finishes. (this is all pure speculation)

Even if they are bringing back retroflex or a traditional knee roll option why wouldn’t the pads have a model logo?
-
Came across these while scrolling through instagram. Picture was posted by GGN. I would’ve thought nothing of it but the normal knee rolls and lack of EFlex logos caught my eye. I wonder if this is potentially a 2023 prototype. It’s a bit odd to see one in the wild this early though. And if this is a prototype does it mean EFlex is getting a name change in 2023?

2022 Bauer Mystery Skate - Konekt Goalie Skate
ThatCarGuy replied to TheGoalNet's topic in Skates + Holders + Steel
May is what I’ve heard. Not certain on the exact day. -
First hyperlite stick broke after 6 months and it wasn’t even caused by hockey. Delta somehow broke just the one stick in a stick bag with two other sticks. I’m not sure how they only broke only one stick (I’m glad it was just one) but I filed a report yesterday so hopefully I get word back in 2-4 weeks if they’ll replace it. Slightly pissed because that stick in particular was my #1 on game days.

SLR2 and 2S pro were near identical in my opinion lol. 2s Pro without a doubt being the better take on that style of pad. SLR3 is designed to be a more trendy, flat boot channel snug pad that sits high on the skate with a softer boot break and straighter core. It’s closer in build to a warrior than Bauer but they all are going towards a soft boot, firm knee block, snug fitting, single below the knee break pad
-
Its crazy that ccm basically fell off the map in the NHL. As for Brian’s, simply put the whole gnetik v set felt like crap especially the pads. The pads are by far the heaviest thing I’ve put on or held since my LT88s and Reebok premier 3s.

Simple. You make it thicker as well as the whole boot is essentially supporting the toe box because nothing can compress as a result of the one piece boot. Think netminder think. -
If I may have a moment of your oh so valuable time. https://www.thegoalnet.com/forums/topic/6215-3m-tape-for-sliding/page/5/#comments Read through this and you’ll see why people are excited for this slide plate
