It was like that on the PX3, maybe even on the 12.2 (but I don't remember).

Yup, they definitely were.  In the video if you jump to 5:40 you will see it, 1:40 has the 12.2 tag...although they were flat faced with no knee rolls.

Oh, neat. I would imagine the knee strap is a bit redundant with how the FRS is set up.

Wouldn't you still want the kneeblock itself anchored to something and not just "floating"?
Even if it is stiff, I can just see it being a piece of mind or limiting how much that area can stretch and move.

  3. A suggestion, instead of an internal belt mod you could use. Have you thought of adding a "fight strap" to the back of your chesty and attaching it to the back of the pants? I use a buckle, one end is sewn into the backplate of the chesty and the other end is looped through the suspender slot - the chesty holds the pants up in the back. Then with the front strap through the front of the chesty loop its held up on both sides and moves with me.

Good eye, i see what you're saying.  I was more circling for emphasizing how the squishy boot is wrapping around the skate rather than the toe tie.

I see you're new here too, welcome, thanks for joining.

    Fair enough.

And a note about being "new" - No, just tend to be a lurker more than someone who posts...

Super squishy boot and super tight toe ties

I feel like his toe ties are actually not that tight if you look at his blocker side you can see there is a reasonable amount of slack. The side you circled has more to do with his leg positioning with his heel being driven down and pointing his toe up more by choice.

  6. This can be tough to answer without seeing what the strapping looks like when you wear the gear. It also depends on the leg channel you have, since you can order them as loose, tight, or super tight. The QMSS2 should allow you to tighten the strap. Knee guards may affect it as well.

Both pictures show one of my favorite subtle tweaks to axis 2 that I’ve wanted ccm to do across both of their lines for awhile.
Pretty sure he’s not using the matching glove because he prefers a 600 to the stock axis 2 break

EDIT: talked with ccm and it appears he never ordered the stock axis 2 break so not sure why he’s still using his old 600 unless he ordered a different break

Could it be something as simple as a Practice Glove/Palm vs a Game Glove?
