    Looks great!

What's the white spot on the blocker sidewall at the top? Was that a section that Bauer could not print on?

    Yup

Gorgeous turnout. You've gotta share the specs on each!

Pads - XXL, All MACH internals except for soft Hyperlite boot. Mach Strapping with leather boot strap, and detachable CRS (Professor Strap)

Glove - Full MACH internals with Game Ready Palm, double T skate lace pocket, no wrist strap (which feels awesome!).

Blocker - Mach, nothing else special about it.

Those look awesome! Are you using the stock bungee toe ties?

yeh, I figured I can give them a shot. I've always used skate lace, if I don't like the bungee I can easily put laces in

  4. Well they finally arrived. Well worth the wait. Follow our team @tarheelhockey

    New!
I love my CCMAB18Pro, but have always been a bit worried about being able to find another one when the time came to replace.

ProSkateGoal Calgary posted they brought in stock of this makeup a few months ago.

Decided to give this a shot as a lot of the design choices on this unit appeal to me:

    • Some similarities to my CCM with how the elbows integrate into the arms, with the added benefit the Bauer scalloped elbow floater system.
    • Also nice they offer custom arm length and reinforcement options.

Looking back, I should have gotten more red and less blue but whatever

Review will come when I skate in it

That's pretty sick. I have a custom hyperlite chest with mach arms that I ordered which should be coming in very soon hopefully.

  6. That's really awesome that they were able to custom make that glove for you. How does it stay on your hand without having any fingers? Do you just wrench it down really tight on your wrist? I'm very intrigued to see how it is worn.

Thanks! That seems like a great price for a custom graphic set and custom chesty

I ordered through a shop in Canada at the recommendation of someone on GGSU. I was told it would be in my favor financially. Hope it turns out to be that price in the end.

Bauer website was updated with some sales copy for Mach. And glamour pics.

Who is taking these high quality over cropped photos? Bauer's web designer needs to be fired.

New strapping on Mach & big ol calf pillow

So, this looks more like the Vapor line of strapping? Is this accurate? If so I'm going to update my order to the Mach line. The way the 2s and Ultra Sonic strapping is drives me nuts when compared to the vapor.

Interesting. How do Bauer chest protectors usually perform? I'm curious to see if it might be worth it to get a Mach chest protector when my current Vaughn unit wears out.

In the past I've had a Bauer 1X (Pro) and I now have a Bauer Pro Series Reimer Pro Return. The 1X was great, very few stingers. Only problem areas were the elbows. The padding kept coming out and exposing parts of my elbow (I have larger than average arms / biceps). The Pro series is bomb proof. Great mobility, and you can custom order these to beef up certain problem areas you may have.

I´m curious about comparing with Bauer or Brian´s glove, I don´t have a chance to do so.

I use to wear exclusively Vaughn gloves. For the past couple of years I've been exclusively wearing Bauer from the 2S, the 2X and ultrasonic. I will not wear anything else for the foreseeable future. I have giant hands (from bottom of palm to top of middle finger is 8.5''). Because of the size of my hands I have a really hard time contorting my palm and especially the thumb into the gloves of Brians, as well as CCM and Warrior. When I eventually wiggle my hand into place, those gloves are extremely uncomfortable for me.

  12. This is just me, but I say absolutely not! The only way someone should be flipping gear is if they buy a piece and improve / refurb it. If you buy a piece of gear, use it for any bit of time and then try to sell it for more money its wrong. There are plenty of ways out there to make a buck, I feel that the goalie community should be self-supporting and the most understandable about how much this position already costs for all of us.

In the recent past I found a Bauer Pro Series Pro Return chest protector for sale online. I was going to buy it if I was able to get rid of one that I already owned. Soon there-after, I found out that the seller I was going to purchase from bought this chest protector the year before for $150 less.  I was heated and did not follow through with the purchase.

All in all, if you want to make money on used hockey gear without owning a shop, make improvements to the gear, or figure out how to make wallets.

Submitted an order for a set of Bauer Mach on 3/25. Was quoted 10-12 weeks by my retailer, but I know other retailers have quoted 12-16 weeks.

I had heard that someone just recently took delivery of a set of Hyperlites and only waited 8 weeks, so I'm optimistic!

I hope that's accurate. I'm about to place a full custom digi-print order. Does anyone know if digi-print orders take longer?

Yeah as Chenner said you should be ok. But what they list am going to say they get unclaimed or lost freight. The way the box is crushed and the writing/printing on the side of the skates they look to be demo models that are close to retail. Highly doubt that printing is on retail/ Pro stock boots. Chances are they got lost in shipping and went unclaimed. Bet Bauer was hoping they weren't going to pop up for sale online, so your pretty dam lucky. Job will done getting them.

The seller canceled the shipment and refunded me in full on friday. On GGSU I found out from Garret Sparks that he saw the sale listing, contacted his bauer rep about it, and the bauer rep said there were 5 pairs of size 13 that went missing / stolen. I'm pretty sure they contacted the seller and reclaimed them. So, Garret Sparks unintentionally screwed me out of a sweet deal.
