Now onto the important question, what process did you use to blackout your skates. They look awesome.

Checking in to see if anyone knows if Bauer has sorted out the buckle issue? Was it just a bad batch?

Finally received my set, ordered Jul 5th, received Sept 19th, so times are getting a little pushed but not too bad.

While waiting for my mach pads to arrive, I ended up upgrading the chesty as well. Thing is super comfy out of the box. Not sure if it was just the day being warm, but I was noticeably warmer wearing it than with the previous unit.

Gotcha, thanks. I'm coming from 10 year old gear, so the stability was much better than my current gear. How much that is down to those brackets? I couldn't tell you. There was nothing that made me think "oh hey, there's plastic in there" if that's what you're after. Pads were really comfortable to wear and easy to move around in.

I've tried them, not sure what you mean by shin bracket?

Gotcha. I just finished demo-ing the Machs, will be ordering a set. I may end up going with the hyperlite blocker with the Mach skin as I wasn't so keen on how the sidewall interacted with the stick. 

@TVille31 Did you do any special instructions for the toe bridge? When looking at the custom options for centered/offset, they only have the small two hole toe bridge shown, where your photo has the longer 4 hole one.
