    1. Toe Straps

    2. Knee Rolls

    3. Stick (for the moment)

    4. Black sides on pads

    5. Beer leaguer goalie not a Hall of Famer

More of my collection to share. Jim Carey's Pro return Pro 90Z from the 93-94 season when he played for Wisconsin. I consider them Pro returns because he was drafted by the Washington Capitals in 1992.

I replaced leather strap for elastic one (mady by myself 😀), but your solution looks better. I should try combination of both - strap cut to half and together with piece of bungee cord. But not with the velcro, just trough the front of the skate like oldschool strap. Thank you for idea!

    How it looks now:

Goodbye Hockey. ......... I am playing my final game on Friday, March 29.

For years my body has been complaining. This time I have listened.

It has been a grand run, 75-80 games per year with my 55+ team and more recently we've morphed into a 70+ squad.

Of course I'll miss it, over 65 years of being a goalie. But following hip, knee and shoulder surgeries the arthritis has won !@#$%^&*. So at age 74 I'm hanging them up. I won't be selling any gear as my Granddaughter is following the Family Curse and is now a 'tender.

It is my plan to drop in every once in a while on this site and take the temperature. But probably won't have much to offer, as if I ever have.

    Cheers y'all

  5. When I found my TPS Cujo set I needed a matching stick of course. I had an old wooden Louisville that I filled the broken parts with two part epoxy, sanded and repainted it. I'm very happy with how it turned out!

  6. Sorry, I just noticed that I posted this in the wrong thread... That's what you get when you don't keep scrolling...

I know it's a "needle in a haystack" request... I am looking for either a set of Heaton Helite 6's, CCM Heaton 10 Pro leg pads only, a set of Brodeur Spec CCM Vectors (I believe this was a Goalie Monkey Limited Edition), or a set of Sher-wood T100 MB30's. Leg pads in 33", 34", or 35" and Large gloves.

    Thanks, Chris

Off a CCM? I find that some paint jobs/designs can only work on certain mask shapes/designs. You couldn't put that paint job on a Bauer cause of the flipped chin or on a very long chin like Hiller. A short to moderate chin works best. IMO...

    Nice work.

It's actually a brand new Koho 570. I completely agree, Brodeur's design looks off on other masks.

    Thank you!

Welcome back! How have you been feeling playing again?

Thank you! Not too bad. The impingement in my left hip causes issues but not too bad. Thanks for asking!
