  1. This is somewhat unrelated but I think it's worth mentioning.

I was actually fired from my hockey job for selling a 9 year old who was barely 5 feet tall a junior goalie stick. Mom said that the goalie coach instructed her to buy a 26" paddle stick.  After me educating her, she took the appropriate size. Next day I came to work an email from the mom and coach demanded I be dismissed or the store would permanently lose them as a future consumer.

I'm over it now but maybe a list like the above would have saved my job

  2. Thought itd be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to all the CCM & Bauer printed graphics. Pros and amateurs. And I think everyone will be able to contribute to it.

I'll start with stuff Iv seen thusfar

Nothing but if they decide to hold off on a name for a season and go Utah Hockey Club, they’ll want to trademark both so they don’t have to deal with someone else trademarking Utah HC.

That's the nonsense they do in soccer, I don't wana see or hear about any hockey club being called a hockey club.

How is there even any wisdom left to make an attempt to get an NHL franchise there again? Seriously. The National Hockey League already has enough dud teams in cities that didn't have any business having a franchise in the first place. I get that money talks. But there's so many advertisements all over the rinks, ice, player's equipment, the NHL looks like the figgen Yellow Pages. Find another sport as your platform to make money and leave those really appreciate our game alone.

  6. I think it's a matter of time till True and CCM try their hand at these lace-less skates, then I wonder what these guys will do. Those buckles are so much money, jeez.

Any of you guys ever had any experience with Kobe K3G jerseys? I'm looking to pick up some new jerseys and my current goalie monkey GC jerseys seem to be a little small and fit kind of snug and my AK GC jerseys are like dresses and look kind of ridiculous. I like the fit of the old rbk edge jerseys, are there any ones out there that have the same fit? It seems like either the jerseys are massive and baggy or tight on the arms.

I wear the Kobe K3G jerseys and they fit me nicely. I'm a smaller goalie so I wear a normal player XL and they do just fine in size. Can't speak for the goalie cut sizes, most jersey companies offer goalie cut with those ridiculous wizard sleeves. Anyway, quality is also very nice if you want NHL patterns.

  8. Vaughn padded compression pant, helped me not have to decide on knee pads. Comfy.

Older padded Shock Doctor compression long sleeve. Pity they're no longer making them. I flip flop between that and Powertek padded long sleeve. Dunno if those are in still around either.

  9. I must have missed the recent part of the thread where there was talks about size comparison.

    Am I to understand that if I wear 34/medium Hyperlite that I will be a 33 G7?

  10. Anyone know if sizing has changed? Meaning if the same size from previous years to the G7 is the exact same or are they now bigger? Anyone have that info?

Based on the title, I honestly thought this was going to be a thread about 1990s goalies or maybe the best 1990s sitcom. Needless to say I am disappointed.

    Anyway…

    He wasn't that good.

  12. This is my year for getting new gear, specifically pads. And Iv narrowed it down to 2 pads that I like for custom. But it already chaps my ass to think that there would be a situation where I paid thousands of bucks for a pad that let a puck squeak by as a result of it being constructed a quarter of an inch to half an inch narrower than the competition.

What I'm asking is a lot. Those those who own a Warrior Ritual goal pad from the G4 line onward, please take a measuring tape and measure the width of your goal pad and kindly post the results here.

    Please and thank you kindly.

  13. So question here, maybe someone out there has the answer. There was much talk about how Warrior managed to get their pads so light by getting the pad widths down to 10.5-10.75". I never did get around to measuring or asking anyone. Was there any truth to this or was is all rumor and speculation? And if it was true on the G6, anyone know if that's gonna continue on the G7?
